If you’ve had the Pfizer vaccination, what side effects have you had?

I had my vaccination yesterday, and along with a headache and feeling achy, l have a temperature of 37.2. I don’t think a temperature is in the list of symptoms. What have others experienced?

I've had it today, at the moment sore arm, and tiredness.

Nuie · 31/12/2020 22:36

Slightly sore arm.

Dontrainonmyparade · 31/12/2020 23:18

Sore arm only here. Mild temp is possible for a few days.

Superspecs · 31/12/2020 23:29

I had it yesterday, I have a sore arm. Fever is on the very common side effects list. www.gov.uk/government/publications/regulatory-approval-of-pfizer-biontech-vaccine-for-covid-19/information-for-uk-recipients-on-pfizerbiontech-covid-19-vaccine#side-effects.
Hope you feel better soon.

StandUpForYourRights · 31/12/2020 23:34

Sore arm for 2 days and today nothing. A mild fever is mentioned as a possibleside effect.

We were told to yellow card all side effects other than a tender injection site as MHRA are collecting data still.

Catsneezies · 31/12/2020 23:37

I wouldn't call 37.2 a temperature or a fever

Doublevodka · 31/12/2020 23:38

I felt like I had a temperature the following day but my thermometer was broken so couldn't check. Definitely had periods of feeling very hot. However it could just be the menopause Confused

Icequeen01 · 31/12/2020 23:39

37.2 is not a temperature.

Iwonder777 · 31/12/2020 23:39

Sore arm only

Gogglebox20 · 31/12/2020 23:41

37.8 and above is classed as a temperature I was told.

lazylockdowner · 31/12/2020 23:45

My sister tested postive today. She had her vaccine 10 days ago she really poorly and has t been out of bed since Christmas Day

lazylockdowner · 31/12/2020 23:47

Presume she must of been positive before she had it 🤷‍♀️

Howluckywewere · 31/12/2020 23:48

2 days of symptoms, now improving: headache, myalgia, burning in both arms, every bone aches and temp 37.8c. COVID negative by pcr and lateral flow. Had COVID infection in April. Seems as though people previously infected are getting stronger reactivity. Don’t normally react like this to flu vaccine etc.

Frankley · 31/12/2020 23:52

Sore arm for a couple of days. Nothing else. Much the same as flu jab.

missyB1 · 31/12/2020 23:53

Dh had it this afternoon. He feels absolutely fine.

Rodders92 · 31/12/2020 23:56

Sore arm and felt nauseous for the first day, nothing since

paradyning · 31/12/2020 23:58

Just normal sore arm and a headache a few days later. Think I was pretty tired as well day after jag

storminasnowglobe · 01/01/2021 00:09

Just a slightly sore arm around the injection site for 2 days. No other side effects for me.

ICUDoc · 01/01/2021 00:16

Very slightly sore at injection point for 24 hours, but only when I lay on that arm at night. Caught covid 8 days later, but was just unlucky! My symptoms were extremely mild and lasted for 2 days. Read now that I probably wouldn't have been more effectively 'immune' until day 14 after the first dose. Waiting to have the second dose now.

MsMamaNature · 01/01/2021 00:18

I have had no side effects at all. Colleagues have had a combination of a sore arm and a slight headache. Nothing a couple of painkillers didn't resolve.

MrsWildermac · 01/01/2021 00:21

Had it two weeks ago, arm sore for about a week and felt very tired on third day. No other side effects. We were advised to get tested if we had even a slight temp as potentially Covid.

chillimartini · 01/01/2021 00:21

Sore arm for about 2 days

Icequeen01 · 01/01/2021 00:22

@ICUDoc Looks like you are going to have a long wait for the 2nd one 😡

ICUDoc · 01/01/2021 00:30

@Icequeen01

I know. It’s rubbish. 🤦🏼‍♀️

paradyning · 01/01/2021 00:30

What's happened? Have they pulled all second doses? My colleague was due for her 2nd today. Mine's in a few days.
