Hoping that it stays dry ish so that we can go the the beach!

Might book a night in the only decent hotel in the county if there’s any good family deals.

IceCreamAndCandyfloss · 08/10/2020 21:12

We aren’t planning on going anywhere. I’ve stocked up on treats, got plenty of things to keep us amused and hopefully we will have a nice relaxing week. Don’t think it’s worth the risk going out apart from remote walks.

CoronaChristmas · 08/10/2020 21:29

We’re not in a local lockdown area but without knowing what will be announced before half term Im not planning much. I actually quite enjoyed the initial lockdown so might replicate that. So daily walks, board games etc

Viv0321 · 08/10/2020 22:00

Yes sounds nice not to do much

No plans. Nowhere to go either. My gym classes are now cancelled as are dhs. He has booked next off when schools are off so we'll all be stuck at home together....Happy days!!

dementedpixie · 08/10/2020 22:04

P.s. I'm in Scotland so our restrictions start from tomorrow at 6pm

Alternista · 08/10/2020 22:07

Not in local lockdown but my plans involve log fires, DVDs, board games, books, baking and walks in the woods, so not much will change there if we do go into lockdown!
I actually can’t wait.

LadyCatStark · 08/10/2020 22:08

Fuck all 😡

Porcupineinwaiting · 08/10/2020 22:10

Same as above - books, board games, some nice walks and cocoa by the fire. I expect the Playstation will get a work out. Baking for Halloween.

CountFosco · 08/10/2020 22:14

I've got the week off but DH is working so he'll be stuck in the attic. Pyjama day watching DVDs, halloween preparations (crafts and baking), painting the bathroom, putting a gallery wall up the stairs, walks and EH if nice weather.

ceeveebee · 08/10/2020 22:17

Wfh. Hoping that the DC will be at holiday clubs, but kind of expecting them to have to close as we are in a very high rate area, if so they will spend the whole week watching tv!

Shieldingending · 08/10/2020 22:20

We had planned a few nights away and have booked a lovely hotel. Planned to be in the hotel and go for walks avoiding anywhere touristy but wondering if Bo Jo will cancel that on Monday Sad

chunkyrun · 08/10/2020 22:21

Stock up on treats, Halloween crafts, lots of long days at parks, visit Blackpool light display

MayFayre · 08/10/2020 22:23

We might well be in a lockdown area by then.

Dog walks, gardening, tv, Xbox, too much baking, alcohol.

winetime89 · 08/10/2020 22:26

I've got two days out booked, a farm with pumpkin picking and a theme park. then weekend after half term I'm wanting to book Blackpool for two nights, don't dare book that yet though as worried everything will end up cancelled.

Deelish75 · 08/10/2020 22:35

Not in a locked down area but haven’t got much planned.

We’ve booked pumpkin picking and then we’ll be carving them. Also want to do some Halloween baking. Instead of trick or treating we plan on doing a Halloween treasure hunt (weather permitting) in the garden.

Also need to do a day out clothes shopping for DD, as she still needs a few winter clothes.

Weather permitting I’ll probably book a a visit to a National Trust property as well.

girlicorne · 08/10/2020 23:11

We had a theme park week away booked but unfortunately we are likely to be under tier 3 restrictions by then so we will probably have to stay at home now 😔 films, board games etc. Not sure what will have to close, I think travel out of the area won’t be allowed but hopefully our country parks, national trust etc will stay open. guess we will wait and see on Monday.

Bickles · 09/10/2020 06:00

We have 3 days out booked- an adventure playground/ trail park, pumpkin picking and a Wizard themed train ride. Going to book NT places too for the first week (we have 2 weeks). Hope these can go ahead!
Otherwise bake Christmas cake, lots of films and Lego.

Iseeyoulookingatme · 09/10/2020 08:13

We were thinking about going pumpkin picking but not sure if they will be still open so we will have to check closer to the time. I've got a few halloween craft activities and treats for ds and I'm sure there will be plenty of xbox use. As always there will also be lots of park visits and walks. So no different than most people.

ShinyGreenElephant · 09/10/2020 08:23

Different Halloween activities each day - baking, Halloween bath (dye the water purple and throw spiders and eyeballs in - they love it!), fortune telling night with my eldest, Halloween movie night most nights with popcorn/snacks, build a spooky den to tell stories in, trick or treating at every room in the house / sweet treasure hunt, mini Halloween party just us with party games, duck apple etc, few different Halloween crafts planned, carving pumpkins (picked them last week as I was worried about not being allowed with further restrictions!), me and my oldest are making a scarecrow although that should be mostly done by half term, were going to do a zoom scavenger hunt with my nieces as well as the kids are usually joined at the hip and are really missing each other since these new rules. Looking for a good Halloweeny story to start reading them each night but struggling for something suitable for a 2yo and an 11yo! Oh and we have about 5 costumes each even though we have nowhere to go! Love dressing up

Cheetosforbreakfast · 09/10/2020 10:09

Not a lot it’s 5 days so just chill and watch movies. We do have a caravan on site but we’re packing that up early this weekend. May go down for the day though if it’s dry.

usernotfound0000 · 09/10/2020 10:14

We were going to book a theme park but now waiting until the announcement on Monday. Probably will end up visiting parks, going on a bike ride if weather permits, pumkin picking somewhere then crafts/board games/film afternoon etc.

JS87 · 09/10/2020 11:24

working from home whilst DS plays roblox

Viv0321 · 09/10/2020 13:48

Dh thinks that we go to caravan in Suffolk. We live in Liverpool. He seems to think it is ok. Let's see what Monday brings.
