Just wanted to say how lovely it smells 😊 Kept walking past people today who smelled really nice... I realised that it was the M&S gel after I went in and out of the shop! It's lovely!!! 😂

Noooooo it's disgusting! I said to my DD it's like old ladies in lavender eating percy pigs!

I haven't smelt the M&S one but will do next time I go there but have you smelt the one in Gap when stores were open? I loved it. Some of the hand sanitizers make me heave as they are so strong and I definitely want to use some that smells pleasant, so will definitely will try M&S.

It’s not great when you decide to order a sandwich at the cafe because it tastes awful on a sandwich

@GreenPlum I can't stand Percy Pigs. It definitely didn't smell like them. Or Lavender (which I do like). I think it must vary from branch to branch. It was like a subtle clove and nutmeg type of fragrance - a bit like mince pies or a freshly made Christmas wreath.

I can't stand them either! That's why I hated it so much!

The one in Zara smells wonderful. I didn’t realise it was the hand sanitiser to start and just thought they were pumping out a lovely smell to entice shoppers. To my delight, the smell remained when I used other plain sanitisers in other shops.

The British heart foundation hand sanitiser in my town was also fragranced. I would describe it as classic old lady perfume. It wouldn’t budge either 😫

Worst one was in Homebase! Horrible plastic bottle weak and nasty smelling.
The m and s one is nice in its own dispenser.

I don't know if it was the hand gel ( marks and spence Barnes ) but I seem to be smelling this sweet sickly slightly cinammony smell - and it appears to have spread over absolutely everything in my fridge ( just since yesterday when i went there ) It got to the point where I was beginning to think it was that weird condition where you imagine smells. Could be a combination of the two - I feel quite nauseous when i smell it ! Any ideas anyone ?

The stuff my local Harvester uses smells like sweaty feet. This is why I take my own everywhere

No, no, no,no - its vile! I used it last week and couldn't get rid of the smell until the following day. Its like something you clean the toilet with. The whole car stank of it on the way home.

Hideous! I was tempted to complain to them, I spent the walk home wondering what the smell was.
