How long have people waited over the past week or so?

Did our swab at 8am. Will see how long it takes to come back!

@KeysDontBelongInTheFridge to be fair I'm surprised my DH did though this is our second round of testing now and the first time he forgot to register for results..

So anyone reading this doing postal test don't forget to register for your results!! It's easily done!

18hrs for me and OH, 21hrs for both DS. That was from a drive through test centre

Test 11.30am yesterday, result 3.30pm today.
Drive through test centre in south west.

Looking like the drive throughs are turning results around much quicker than walk ins

I think it must depend where you are. I know several people tested at drive through in the north west over the weekend and nobody has had a result yet.

Tested Friday, result today. 70 hours .
Drive in, Midlands

@mayfare I don’t suppose it was Derby was it?

East mids - walk in and drive through were both about 63 hours
I spent so much of that time googling 'how long are results taking?' It was such a relief to get a test but then became so stressful waiting and having to isolate and cancel weekend plans
Our results were negative

We are midlands and over 72 hours now. Rapidly losing my sense of humour.

@Butterer how did you get to speak to someone - when I select the result option I get cut off.

I spoke to 119 yesterday and was told it would be escalated as over 72 hours but still nothing. I tried again today but just got an automated message and cut off. I lost my baby at 20 weeks pregnant in June and this Thursday I have the review with the consultant in relation to his post mortem and the implications for the future. I will be so angry and upset if I can’t attend due to the delay in the test results.

The system is a complete shambles.

Tested at half 12 lunchtime on Tuesday. Had the result at 6am on weds. Was super impressed, not sure why it's taking some a lot longer than others!

Friday home test result just came through now via email (negative) hope this gives other Friday testers some hope!
