How long did you wait for your results?

Only could get a home testing kit which I posted back on Wednesday and through tracking saw it arrived Thursday morning. I know it's only Saturday but keep hearing from others they heard within 24hours.

DS went to a drive through centre last Sunday morning and had his negative result by lunchtime the next day.

Ours was a drive through.

Test was taken at 8.15 am, got the results the next day at 8.30am. Cue a mad rush to get to school and work!

Tested at 7pm Sunday. Results 5.05am Monday. Shocked at how quick!

Drive in centre lunchtime Wednesday. Results lunchtime Friday (Lancashire)

My home testing kit also arrived at its destination on Thursday AM but no results yet. So frustrating as meant to be driving to hired cottage tomorrow but obviously can’t until we get results. Hopefully this evening! Fingers crossed for both of us.

Drive through Thursday early afternoon. Got one result back at 9am this morning (negative) but still waiting for the other two. 48hrs now. I really hope I'm not waiting until next week as it's now pretty certain to be negative (the result back is the DC who had the strongest symptoms on the day).

Certainly appears to be taking longer.

We got a home test. Arrived and sent back Tuesday afternoon. Received results late last night.

I posted a home testing kit on Tuesday and got the results first thing this morning.

I posted 3 home testing kits on Tuesday afternoon, they arrived at their destination 7am Wednesday. Haven't received any results yet.

We did tests for the whole family a week or so ago. Posted on a Tuesday morning and got the kids results on Friday afternoon and mine on Saturday morning.

Home testing kit arrived at lab (Glasgow) Thursday night. We've not heard anything.

48hrs

Home testing kit was posted Tuesday , arrived wednesday and we got results yesterday (friday) evening so over 48 hours after it got there. I thought it could be longer to be fair as they said 2-4 days. Frustrating waiting though.

same here - home testing kit posted on wednesday and waiting to hear. I forgot to take the tracking details so don't know if it's arrived or not. I expect to get the results by Monday at the earliest.

We did a drive through and it took three days but only because we phoned up and made a fuss. God knows how long it would have taken otherwise.

Took test at drive through on Thursday lunchtime.. nothing so far... I'm assuming they send results out through the weekend... is that right?

Thanks everyone looks like the home tests are taking longer. Want DD back to nursery on Monday so just hope we get it by tomorrow night 🤞. Tbh I'm convinced it will come back inconclusive as doing the test on a toddler was very hard.

Home tests sent Wednesday, arrived Thursday morning. One result received this morning, one this afternoon and still waiting on the other.

We have been waiting 56 hours now !!! Had to cancel all weekend plans. I know a few who were tested same day and no one had heard yet so clearly taking ages- have to assume the positive results take priority or it's pretty worrying if all results are taking three days in terms of tracing contacts etc

Ours was a walk in in local hot spot so I thought would be quicker than this but whole system clearly struggling this week

Actually i sent in the test on Thursday afternoon. We just got our result now (we live in london).

We’ve waited a week and given up hope of getting results. Have rang and chased and it’s been ‘escalated’, but assuming the tests are lost in the system somewhere.
