How long did you wait for your results?

Only could get a home testing kit which I posted back on Wednesday and through tracking saw it arrived Thursday morning. I know it's only Saturday but keep hearing from others they heard within 24hours.

Walk-in. C London. Took 18 hours for results.

Tests arrived in Glasgow Thursday morning and Friday morning. Not heard yet. Hoping they send out positive results faster so means ours will be negative??!! My employer is not impressed. I think he'd be happier if people just pretended the virus didn't exist so dreading it if/when this happens next time kids get ill :-(. They have to sort the testing system out somehow.....

Did everyone just get a text or do you get an email as well? I had to register my son's test over the phone, and it was a really poor line with probably the least helpful person I have ever spoken to so quite a high chance he recorded the number wrong. I suppose I will have to wait a bit longer and then ring and chase it.

Mine was a text and an email (although they had told me it would only be a text).

How are people checking when the tests arrived at the labs?
We sent a test back on Friday morning, hoping to get results so we can go back to work , DC to school next week.

Well all I can say is that my daughter has been trying since Wednesday to get a test...ridiculous!!

Tested 8:30 Monday and results by Tuesday 15:00 at a walk in centre

Ours finally arrived at 130 am- weirdly by email first then text a few hours later - 63.5 hours from test to results !!!! Negative so relieved

I got results this morning from one arriving thursday- one arriving Friday not back yet.

Walk in test on Tuesday at 4:30pm. That was the first available test after looking on Monday afternoon/early evening.
Results arrived at 10:30am on Friday
So 66 hours from test to result.

Luckily it was a research one rather than for symptoms else I'd have missed 2.5-3.5 days of teaching.

@covetingthepreciousthings if you have the tracking number off the box, you can track on the royal mail website.

Sent ours Tuesday. Arrived Wed morning. One back on Friday night, other back last night.
