@Kitcat122 So sorry it’s all come back for you. That’s the thing, mine comes back, sneezing, aches etc when it could’ve been calmer for quite a while. Is it definitely something else we’re catching or resurfacing of symptoms, it’s all so confusing.
Neck and glands swollen up so badly this time around.

Morning everyone
I get the Parliament bulletin via work and they have done a rapid summary of short and long term effects of Covid.
They are a good team who do really evidence based work (from what I have seen)

@AndsLee one theory in here is the autoimmune one which you have mentioned and I agree is possible based on my blood results

Solidarity to those suffering today, I’m seemingly coming out of my relapse but let’s see xx

Also @TiddleTaddleTat so sorry you were treated so badly. It’s almost laughable that they denied existence of something that is widely known to exist.
Hugs

@TiddleTaddleTat I completely empathise. The test is demanding and requires you to cycle at a cadence of 60 (low) whilst they gradually increase the resistance. 2 months ago I would have refused.

MillStone · 23/09/2020 09:56

@Criticallythinking How baffling. The Infectious Diseases department in the same hospital even has a CFS service!

Hello all, sorry to hear others are suffering again and for bad experience with the post covid clinic @TiddleTaddleTat

I keep having days where I think things are getting better. But then I get a rude reminder they are not. I had what I think must have been horrendous reflux a few nights ago - felt like I was going to throw up but as an emetophobe I resisted it and eventually the moment passed but I had a horrible night's sleep. Now I am back with the low-grade temperatures around 37.5 or just above. Have had to cancel my eye test which I really need to have.

I just don't know what to do next. I could cope with my other symptoms if the temperatures would go away.

Have any of you lovely people continued to get low grade temperatures and if so what have you done about it? With the testing system in melt down I can't even go and get a quick test to check I'm not infectious.

I'm not having a good day today. Hoping tomorrow is better for us all x

Hi all, we’re about to run out of space on this thread so I took the liberty of making a new one here
www.mumsnet.com/Talk/coronavirus/4031285-Covid-lungs-thread-18-weeks-plus-thread-2?watched=1&msgid=100249686#100249686
I tried to add some of the links we had from the last thread in the opening paragraph so they’re easy to find. I couldn’t do them all though, there were loads!

Sorry to hear about your experiences @TiddleTaddleTat - it's so frustrating.

I too am dreading getting the usual coughs and colds as my chest and throat feel so tight and weird. I'm very tired too but luckily sleeping okay. My phased return to work is ending next week so goodness knows how I'm going to cope full time during this winter. The only good thing for me is that Covid isn't being counted on my sick record so if I do get ill again, I can take time off with only the pay penalty.
I'm on high doses of Vitamin C, Zinc, Magnesium and VitD3.
