anyone know what is likely to change on Friday? Will they be allowed to travel further than 5 miles ?

The five miles things is probably to keep the English and tourists out I think. Rather than keeping the Welsh in.

I live on the border. Around 5 miles of the border in fact. We've been over to England lots and never been stopped. Never seen a single police car. The only road blocks I'm aware of are for some reason in Flint. DH always seems to encounter one there on Saturday afternoons when he's working. Not quite sure why they think lots of people would be sneaking into Flint of all places. The A55 is picking up again nicely and will be back to a car park in no time.

hugglespuffed they are but he has other younger children and their mother is shielding. Also he can't take time off work now to have them anyway as they are not allowed at the moment

I fear not much will change, although I desperately want a lot to change. Due to go on holiday to west wales end of July, it's not looking likely and I'm in South Wales. I work in hospitality and will be made redundant soon, this lockdown is now causing more and more problems.

6th july then?! Not what I wanted to hear but at least there is a date.

All shops open (no idea how they'll be staffed as no schools open to most)

But no change to 5 mile rule till July.

@MrsArchchancellorRidcully I guess they'll have to take tips from England. As people living here have had the same dilemma with shops opening and no childcare.
