When will life return to normal?

I know no one knows the answer to that but what will it take for us to get our old life's back to normal again?
No social distancing in place and going out and being next to people without thinking about it.
Surely they can't keep us like this indefinitely we will have to be able to get back to normal soon?
Nightclubs (not that I go to them) theatre shows and concerts are just some of the things that you can't social distance for, I just keep thinking about it all today and can't see an end to it 😭😭 x
@Drivingdownthe101 why is that? Don't you worry at all about you or your family getting Covid?
Well DH has had it, as has my DM. We all had symptoms too but weren’t tested so may well have had it.
But yes, I’m mildly concerned. Just as I’m mildly concerned about catching other nasty illnesses, like when DD1 was hospitalised with scarlet fever or when I was in intensive care for a week with sepsis as a result of mastitis, or developing cancer like a fair few of my loved ones have, or dying in a car accident like my brother did when he was 27. Life is a series of risks, people get ill and die of all sorts of things, and to me it’s just another risk alongside many others.

I know it seems awful but we will find ways to adjust and be ok

I think for a start we should go for the billionaires👿
like kill them and eat them 😈

It depends what you mean by normal as I think it'll be different for everyone. For shielded I don't think 'normal' will resume until there's a vaccine or infection levels are low enough. For most healthy people I think something closer to normal will happen over the summer (i.e. UK holidays, possibly seeing close family and friends, cinemas, restaurants and bars.) It won't look totally normal though. Compared to the last 3 months of being mostly shut inside, I think pretty much any return to normality will be a huge improvement 😬
