The report I read said that Asians had lowest death rate, then white, then Bangladeshi/Pakistan, then black, then mixed race, then other ethnic minorities ( Who is left?).

"how comes deaths in Africa and India from Covid-19 is so low if black and Asian people are more at risk? "

Probably because the vast majority of COVID deaths are the very old and / or with serious health conditions

Developing countries have much younger populations, especially in Africa after the carnage of AIDS

Median Population Age

17 Uganda
18 Nigeria
22 Ghana
25 Egypt
28 S Africa
28 India

47 Italy
46 Germany
45 Spain
42 France
41 Sweden
40 UK
38 Ireland

There is very low risk for the under-30 age group

If the young age of African nations is a protective factor then it adds more weight to the western diabetogenic lifestyle leading to higher rates of co-morbidities in BAME people in the uk and consequently higher covid19 complications
