I had never heard any of her songs before (not knowingly anyway) - I listened to a couple last night as a result of seeing her but it was genuinely the first time.

I think the obsession with Billie Eilish is that she and her brother were so talented so young and came up with some amazingly catchy tunes all by themselves. They also have so much love for each other it’s heartwarming.

I also love the way she preserves her independence when it comes to her looks and actively rebels against the plastic sexiness that young female singers are coerced into.

OP if you’ve only just heard of her I envy you because you have lots of binge tubing to do! Watch her carpool karaoke with James Corden, that’s the first time I realised how talented and humble she is.

Thanks I will start with the Carpool 😊. I had heard of her because my dd’s friend (very talented herself and due to go to singing school in September) loves her and even took my dd to one of her concerts, but I had never bothered to find out more.

Finally got round to watching Sunny! I thought it was pretty damn good. I do like the Marvin Gaye version though, but yes I agree she nailed it.

I found the programme a bit much. I am having to watch it in small doses and I don't know why.

I am also don't see the big deal with her. When she sang at the Brits I couldn't understand half of what she was singing.

I am loving seeing all the celebs homes though.

She doesn't sing though does she? She mumbles and you can barely hear her.

I really don't get all the love for her
