Vapers - how are we feeling at the mo?

How I’d love to give it up but the more I try the more I want to vape and it keeps me off smoking
I’ve been vaping for about seven years and have felt much better for it.
However I’m now really scared about the impact vaping has on coronavirus.

Ive got a fair few set ups - I really enjoy the building/hobby side of it too.
If you are new to vaping dont buy an powerful bit of kit at first - the joytech one is a good shout, or try a pod system.
You can get juice from lots of places. For a starter vaper theres an online company called Liquid that sells them from a pound per 10ml bottle who are good and you can try a few flavours and nic strengths.
I'd also recommend a company called Prime Vapes for anyone who wants shortfills, they are amazing juices.

I've been vaping for 5 years and I have zero intention of quitting any time soon.

We're almost positive that both me and my daughter had CV about 6 weeks ago. Impossible to say for definite without tests but we both had all the symptoms. Interestingly, she (24, healthy, no health conditions) had it significantly worse than me (45, overweight, high blood pressure and under active thyroid - on medication for both). She was in bed for 5 days and took another 2 weeks after that before she felt well, whereas I had very mild symptoms for about 2/3 days.

I've thought more about wanting a cigarette in the last couple of months than I have for years so there's no way I'll be stopping vaping. I loved smoking and now I really enjoy vaping and there's no way I could have quit without it.

Dp thinks I’m more at risk that her, we both vape but she doesn’t take it to the lungs like I do, I’ve tried to do it her way but it’s shit!

i’ve got a pockex aspire which cost me £13. totally basic but it’s got me off the fags. not smoked one for over 3 months now, and my smker’s cough has completely gone. i w1s starting to sound like my Nan!

i’m happy with vaping and don’t plan on stopping. stopping the fags was a major priority for my health and the vape has helped me achieve that relatively painlessly.

@TooManyTigers I do what your Mrs does. I cant do the lung thing either, it feels too big for my gob
I honestly would be on the fags again and I never want to go back. I ended up so badly breathless after a chest infection it scared the absolute shit out of me. So OP? I know its unproven as yet but the danger from smoking is. So I'll keep vaping as I need to (but not coughing like I used to! ) That's the way I look at it.

@ FascinatingCarrot really! I thought it was just her! I don’t get the point to just keeping it in your mouth, I’d like to learn it though 😂 for me, I vape in the same way I smoked, mouth to lung.

I’ve felt very short of breath recently but I don’t know if that’s the vaping or anxiety over the ‘rona situation making me think it’s the vape

@TooManyTigers Ah I didnt realise she doesnt even inhale Yeah I mouth to lung too. No big clouds in the work loo hehe.
I think we are hyper sensitive at the mo, well I know I was. I had a really tight chest and was also starting to about my vape. Then realised it's because I've been so tense.
I've deliberately relaxed a lot today. No more tight chest so far.
