Those with obesity who contracted SARS-CoV-2 were:

113% more likely than people of healthy weight to be hospitalised
74% more likely to be admitted to ICU
48% more likely to die.

Interesting paper looking at the designing the best strategy for dealing with Covid-19 in the long term. Uses the age of those with positive ab tests to predict the future course of the disease. Some unexpected findings. One of the lead authors is on twitter @fredericolois and is an interesting and challenging follow.
