Not sure if its just me, but the meal I had just before we were told to lockdown was AMAZEBALLS.

Carrot soup, fresh baguette for starter's

Chicken quesadillias, big tasty salad, fries. The fries had some sort of dust on them? Probably crack. Or MSG. Anyway, they were divine.

You?

Mine was amazing too OP Grin.

Lovely local pub with great food. I had a proper roast beef dinner, pink beef, lovely massive Yorkshire, roasties etc etc. Followed by homemade chocolate brownie with mixed berry compote and good vanilla ice cream.

One day.... I'll be back!

My adult kids took me out for dinner in March and the food was amazing.

Starter. Breaded mushrooms with a garlic dip.
Main course. Spiced cauliflower puff pastry with mash and gravy.
Dessert. Salted caramel Chocolate torte with vegan ice cream

Wine. Jesus Romero Rubus, Grenache/Tempranillo/Syrah blend.

Then finished off with a calypso coffee. I was rather hung over the next day. Gosh I really want a beautiful dinner made for me by someone else.

Chicken, bacon and avocado calzone, about a month ago. It was amazing.

Deep fried mushroom dumpling and a cucumber salad with some gin egg white cocktail. It was delicious.

Sunday lunch at The Waterfront, Kessingland. I hope they survive this crisis, they do the best Sunday lunch and I'm hoping to go back.

A carvery.
I've not had one in about 5 years, generally not my thing but it was actually really good.
