At least 4 of my neighbours seem.tp be carrying on as normal. Gardener / decorator/ Argos worker and another self employed neighbour ( can't say the name of the company as too outing ). I feel like I've been inside my home forever - am I right to be pissed off or are they in some way essential key workers

It doesn't sound good to me. They've either stood you down or not. They will probably claim money to pay you in some way anyway.. eventually

@Neves7 Well, I will find out one way or another on Friday!

I'm pretty sure it's right as we've been over all of the guidelines and there is quite a lot of information on my agency website.

I agree with Timtam, you are mixing up the two things. If you can't work from home you can still go to work. And some businesses have voluntarily closed.

Hmm. Perhaps I AM envious of them.going out and getting paid whilst I cannot.

I think the message was originally only key workers then changed to if you can’t work from home. DP went to lock all tools, materials and vehicles away on the tues morning then restarted work again a day or two later.

If I don’t go to work I don’t get paid. I talked about it with my husband and we decided for me to still work until they stopped everyone from working. I hope that doesn’t happen as I have no idea how we will pay for food when that does happen.
