It's well written, but the presumption we will all have the same experience annoyed me a bit as are all individual and have different lives etc. . I get they may be some things most of us could relate to, but I don't like being told how I am going to be feeling in a couple of weeks!

I have family in Italy and they think this article is utterly self indulgent dirge. Yes we are all in the same boat but who does this woman think she is to say “you will” be this or that. No. She does not speak for me.

The only scaremongering thing about this is the title. It isn't a chilling view of the future. It's a comment on how things are and a reminder that we are all in this together, as isolated as we feel.

It's not chilling at all. Stop being dramatic.

I think @Sarahlou63 just read the caption (which was probably written by an editor) the article isn’t scaremongering or chilling but rather whimsical and affirming.
