New restrictions in Ireland

Our PM has just announced that we are not to travel 2km from our homes, and that this can be inforced.

I am scared and worried. What does everyone else think?

I'm not surprised but a little upset. I had been going from my house to my parents house most evenings, (something I always did) I haven't really being going anywhere else except for a walk.
I live on my own but now I'll have to stay in my house unless I go for a walk or need food.
I wont be able to go my parents now.
Still it's only for 2 weeks, I'll manage, I might be insane bu the end of it but I have Alexa to keep me company.

@lblinkedandiamond are you at work at the minute and are your parents elderly or with underlying health conditions? If you were at work you shouldn't have been going to your parents if the above applies to them.
