His BMI must be 40+ and he looks like he has high blood pressure? 😱

I remorselessly take part in Boris bashing, as he is a cunt

HOWEVER, this thread was almost the opposite of bashing; in that I am concerned that he has co-morbidities, and won’t spring back

Bojo1 · 28/03/2020 10:02

No way is his BMI 40. Nowhere near it

NotEverythingIsBlackandwhite · 28/03/2020 10:07

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

SubjectMatterExpert · 28/03/2020 10:17

Also @beautifulteeth I have never professed to being ‘kind’ and ‘nice’. I am way too old for that shite

OP posts:
SubjectMatterExpert · 28/03/2020 10:18

Well ok then @NotEverythingIsBlackandwhite maybe a kind of morbid curiosity 😃. That’s close to ‘kind’ and ‘nice’ right?

OP posts:
SubjectMatterExpert · 28/03/2020 10:19

@Bojo1 is that you? What IS your BMI? And do you have high blood pressure?

OP posts:
SubjectMatterExpert · 28/03/2020 10:19

Eeeeew! @Beatricesheilamaria

MowzersAsleep · 28/03/2020 10:20

I was genuinely wondering how much sleep he must be getting lately, I guess not a lot at all, and that takes immense toll on health.

AnotherMurkyDay · 28/03/2020 10:44

Stress, extra weight, lack of sleep, that all takes its toll on a persons health (and blood pressure regardless of whether they usually run or not) I do think his health is probably vulnerable. Do our officials have to have health tests like the president does?

AnotherMurkyDay · 28/03/2020 10:46

The BoJo Starfish is an image I will now never be able to get out of my head. And I didn't even see it so can't just scratch out my eyes

TheABC · 28/03/2020 10:49

Lol. Let's hope he does have a mild version and uses the time to sleep. I don't like the man but the alternative is Raab.

Please don't speculate about Raab's constitution or bedtime ways. I don't have enough brain bleach left.

Queenest · 28/03/2020 10:52

Unless he's a starfish kind of guy
Ewwww Confused

vera99 · 28/03/2020 11:00

Since Brexit he had to give up on the biking as he was getting so much abuse from London remainiacs. Like Blair before him, what use is it if you gain the whole world and lose your own soul.

CovidConcerned · 28/03/2020 11:04

My bmi is 43 but my blood pressure is perfect. Why would you think one would lead to the other, I know plenty of slim people with high blood pressure.

Spam88 · 28/03/2020 11:07

I remorselessly take part in Boris bashing, as he is a cunt

housemdwaswrong · 28/03/2020 11:46

@CovidConcerned because there ades well established links. It's a known, and proven contributory factor. Eg.www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2007/09/070928180348.htm

freethinker987 · 28/03/2020 11:55

oh look, another thread bashing Boris which the Mumsnet moderators won't remove...

AnotherMurkyDay · 28/03/2020 12:01

@CovidConcerned

Being overweight or obese puts you at greater likelihood of developing high blood pressure.
That doesn't mean that all people with high blood pressure are overweight or that all people who are lower weight won't have high blood pressure.
I think being prime minister in a very stressful time would raise anybody's blood pressure.
So stress plus overweight, both mean he's more likely to have high blood pressure
It was only speculation, I am not his doctor

AnotherMurkyDay · 28/03/2020 12:02

@TheABC

You don't need brain bleach if you've got zoflora. Apparently that shit works on anything.

donquixotedelamancha · 28/03/2020 12:06

oh look, another thread bashing Boris which the Mumsnet moderators won't remove..

If you are that bothered, just misgender Boris a couple of times, that'll get it taken down.

Like Blair before him, what use is it if you gain the whole world and lose your own soul.

Bit presumptuous to think she had a soul to start with.

SubjectMatterExpert · 28/03/2020 14:45

@freethinker987 because we live in a democracy and have free speech. You want a society where people aren’t allowed to criticise the government? Really??

OP posts:
SubjectMatterExpert · 28/03/2020 14:48

@donquixotedelamancha 🤣

OP posts:
freethinker987 · 28/03/2020 14:49

@subjectmatterexpert pointing out someone has a higher than average BMI and offering no constructive commentary is neither helpful nor ironically criticising the government, it's just a personal attack on someone's appearance.

And mumsnet isn't a democracy, it has its own political objectives and it quick to censor and ban posters whose opinions differ from those objectives.

ChipotleBlessing · 28/03/2020 14:52

His BMI won’t be over 40, or even close. He exercises regularly and you can’t actually diagnose high blood pressure by looking at people. He may have comorbidities but no one here can tell you that.

SubjectMatterExpert · 28/03/2020 14:55

Helpful to WHO? My intention wasn’t to be helpful or to ‘ironically criticise the government’ (Whatever that means)

I’m just speculating on whether BJ has co-morbidities. Because if you don’t have them, the disease is apparently mostly mild. If you DO, then it can be fatal. And BJ you know is PM of our country. So it’s a point of interest. Is it not? It is to me, at least

What ‘political objectives’ does MN have?? 🧐
