Has anyone got into Asda today to be able to amend click and collect? I’ve been in the queue for 90 minutes so far. Is there ANY chance of getting in?

And less important, why are they so busy? There is a very small number of click and collect or delivery slots at all, so why is the website overwhelmed?

I did it earlier tonight. It took AGES for the confirmation email to come, so I was worried it hadn’t worked. Loads of things are showing out of stock, and things which show as in stock then are suddenly OOS when they are in the trolley - really odd. It will be interesting to see what turns up on Monday.

Haven't managed to get in all day to ammend an order coming tomorrow. They must be working behind the scenes on something. Have tried the app and various web browsers.

Took me over an hour to get in this afternoon. I was trying to amend my order coming on the 1st but it wouldn’t let me add anything. Already showing a lot of things are now out of stock so don’t know what to do now

I don’t understand it though- there is a limited amount of slots for click and collect/ delivery. They are all filled up. So why can’t the website cope? There is a set number of people trying to log in surely?

I'm too nervous to amend my order as I've got substitutes ticked for everything but when I go into amend it, it says it will remove the items that are now unavailable despite my order being for 2 weeks time, when it may be available again by then.

At least by leaving them in there I may get substitutions, whereas if I amend it they disappear from my basket altogether and I can't put other things in to replace them as not always possible due to stock at that time, which would be fine if my order was tomorrow, but it's weeks away and I'm hoping things will improve by then.

Sorry to hear you're all having so much difficulty sorting your online shop with Asda.

I placed my order on Tuesday 17th and yesterday's date (24th) was the earliest delivery slot back then. The order arrived yesterday during the designated time slot, but I was shocked by the sheer number of items that were 'not available' and therefore missing from the order, the items present that I did not order, and the items I did order that were substituted when I chose no substitutes or they sent smaller sizes than ordered - and then having checked prices online last night saw that they still charged me full price.

I appreciate that all the supermarkets are really doing their best so have shrugged it off, understanding that under the current circumstances things are quite likely to remain mixed up and a bit shambolic for a while.

Shopping to feed our families is massively stressful at the moment so I hope you are all able to place your orders to start with, and then receive what you have ordered Flowers

I've an order for Saturday. I can't get into it. I was amending it. Now worried I won't be able to get in before the cut off and I would get the bloody thing. Which I've had booked for so long

That's strange people haven't been able to get on. I amended mine through the website this afternoon. Was put in a queue but it was less than 10 minutes before I was let through

If you're on chrome, I've just checked and the queue screen comes up. Just leave it on and it will connect when available

It took me 3 days to be able to get on the site to amend an order and pick substitutes as half of it was out of stock. App doesn't let me on at all. I was going to cancel the slot to let someone more vulnerable have it, but I can't get on to even do that!

My mother in law had her delivery, only 3 substitutions.

Can't get on the app for love nor money. I managed to get through at 4am to add some formula but that's it.

Had an order come today. No bread, crisps, crackers, soft drinks, peas, nappies or wine. Didn't even subsitute them either! Which I thought and even hoped they would have done. Im not super fussy just would have liked something similar to what I had ordered. Did get milk, veg, meat and baby food so have the things for meals which is what is most important. But basically went from a 75 pound order to a 45 pound order when you minus the bits they didnt have. Did take me a while to get on the website to ammend yesterday. To the PP who was talking about not ammending so they get the subs..yes they had removed things they already had out of stock.. but then given that they didnt do any subs for the things that weren't out of stock yesterday anyway I guess it didnt matter that I logged on..

We had an order yesterday, only two things not available (so missed off the order) and a couple of substitutions.

I couldn’t get any flour or pasta as is was all or mostly all out of stock.
Everything else I ordered including milk, eggs and bread, fresh fruit and veg were all fine.

The website is struggling, I have another order booked for next week (and the following week), I like to go on randomly add things as and when I think of them/run out/decide I want something, getting on today and yesterday has been virtually impossible.

The queuing page does not put you into any kind of queue that I can see, I have it sat open on my laptop for over 6 hours yesterday and it didn’t change but I managed to get onto the website on my phone and the PC several times throughout the day just by reloading the page every so often until it allowed me in.
