Did anyone else not get a text from the government?

As I didn’t, and I’ve had this phone number for over 20 years.

I’m on PAYG though, maybe that’s the reason.

No big deal, just wondering.

Nope. No text, and I'm on a contract so it's not because you are PAYG. My husband received it twice though.

What network? It may be that the government didn't talk to all the smaller ones
Or it may just be the odd message got lost in the post as it were

I'm on vodaphone and I didn't get one. My DD who is on smart got one first thing yesterday morning. DH got one late yesterday evening and he's on Virgin yet DS who is on the same network didn't.

My, husband, I and all my friends and family got the text. That's at least 30 people on different networks in different parts of the country.

My DH hasn't received a text yet. I received mine late yesterday afternoon. (We are with different providers though so that probably accounts for it).

No. On a major website and registered as main number for many things.

None of us (4) got one. We are on Virgin contracts. I've had my same number for 15 years. DH too.

I am registered with Gateway and other Govt sites (well always get a Tax Credits letter) and we both work full time so tax office has details.

It's making me anxious that we could miss key information.

Hum. Sounds like lost messages , from reading the news this morning it sounds like it's the mobile networks that might struggle the most which makes sense

They know not everyone has a mobile...i saw 4% of households don't have one, and anything major is put on other channels as well

I did read there were some communities who generally didn't do telly and social media , this might have been a way to ensure they got some traction into those communities

2 out of 5 phone holders in our house got the text and we’re all on the same network. I’m guessing they have to stagger the messages or risk overloading servers. They will probably continue to go out for a few days but it’s inevitable that an operation on this scale will miss a few people.

Dr I've been really disappointed in Virgin's reception, along with Branson's antics.

I am not surprised that we've not received the text.
