I keep reading people saying it’s only 3 weeks, but surely it’s going to go on for much longer than that ?

If this goes on for 18 months, even if it is on and off, I'm not sure how many businesses will cope.
I spoke to neighbour (well before the lockdown) who is in sales, and he said that all of the events his company was taking part in had been cancelled (and they were looking at volunteers to take redundancy- this was before the 80% help was announced so not sure what the position is now).
If there is so much uncertainty for such a long time, I have no idea where the economy will be.
That doesn't mean I don't care- but we do have to consider the economic effects of what we are doing.

I don’t think they have suggested a new plan. I think we just need to wait the three weeks, see how the numbers pan out, what the trend is, and see what the government does.

I don’t think the restrictions will be lifted totally. I think there is a chance they will be slackened, a little, but not before Easter, they will want us locked down at that point.

I also don’t think they will be fully lifted, but maybe a little bit of slackening at that stage, but it depends, it depends on the numbers and what happens with treatments. 🤷‍♀️
