What are people's views of online ordering NON essentials?

DS could do with some new trousers (legs seem to be growing fast), I could do with some new leggings as it's all I'm wearing at the mo and a new pair of slippers.

Am I being selfish ordering online? Is it frowned on at the mo? Online clothing stores seem to be still open. What about returning if they don't fit etc?

My telly died last night and I've ordered another from Currys to be delivered.
I do feel slightly uneasy about it as I'd rather that people in warehouses and delivery drivers did not have to go to work but on the otherhand is it keeping the economy going and those jobs open?

and to be honest on lockdown I need my telly

if it's suggested we make sacrifices such as not ordering shit online the people who work fulfilling these orders 'will probably be fine'. We're a selfish bunch us humans

They will hardly be fine when out of a job though? How do you propose one buys anything without money coming in?

We don’t know how long this will last, after all.
