I know Boris said he will review in 3 weeks but do you think it will go on longer? Just curious

I’m assuming three months.

Our numbers aren’t exceeding Italy’s from the statistics I’ve seen

Out of around twenty adults in the area I live in around 10 have driven off at their usual time to work. I am an essential worker but have a day off, a SW has gone in. The others are non essential ( self employed bricklayer, carpenter, plumber, book keeper males.
Two have stayed off, both are cleaners ( and female)
This lock down hasn't changed a thing here and Boris needs to make it clearer who is allowed to actually go to work for anything to have a positive result

I would guess until June time.

I would hope the measures don't get stronger but I fear there will be still be large numbers of the public who think "essential food shopping" means a whole trolly trolley of food on a daily basis.

This is a real chance for us as a society to reconnect as families and spend time remembering what matters. Time to do the things we don't have time for usually.

Yes it's bloody tough. Financially people will be hit hard. But we'll also realise we don't need everything the moment we want it. We don't need cupboards full of unhealthy snacks and fizzy drinks.

How we move forward from here will entirely depend on how willing the public are to do the right thing.

South East Asia have dealt with this so much better than Europe
Well there's a number of reasons for that, which aren't going to disappear in the next few months. We have to get through this in the best way we can.
