Just received a text from coronavirus NHS. Worried and confused

I've received a text stating that I have been identified as someone of high risk of developing complications from coronavirus. But as far as I am aware I do not have any underlying health conditions, I have 2 young children, ( both under 5) and again not aware of any health conditions. I am worried that one of them could be high risk but I don't know of what.
What should I do next?

Does the text say you'll get a letter from your GP and give you a link to all the further info?

What else does the text say? Maybe they have the wrong date of birth for you or have sent the text in error by getting a digit wrong

Probably sent in error. I got one earlier telling me I should not expect to collect my regular prescription early. I haven’t had a prescription of any kind in a decade.
So don’t worry, and definitely don’t click on any links in the text.

The government did say that some letters may be issued wrongly due to the sources they used to identify people.

BMI is within the healthy/normal range. I have just received another text saying about how to get repeat prescription. I have not taken any medication in years.
I have looked at the list of underlying health conditions and none apply to me or my children.
Just worried that one of my child may have something that I don't know about

Why on earth would your children have something you dont know about ?

My youngest had a slightly low white cell count when born, they only found this out after checking his levels for jaundice, but when they took another blood sample a week later they found his count was normal. That was 2 years ago. Could it be something to do with that.
This text came on a day when I was feeling positive but now I feel a little scared. Will ring gp surgery tomorrow

An auto generated text sent out in an emergency situation is far more likely to be wrong than you are. Call your GP in the morning, but it’s really unlikely that there’s something unexpected you don’t know about

I was going to start a thread as well- I’m assuming our text is aimed at my 2 year old but not sure why. She was briefly in NICU when born, slight risk of anaphylaxis, missed her flu vaccination due to egg allergy... but will be calling the doctor for clarification

DH has just got this but we were expecting it.

it will be an incorrect phone number in the system. My GP had my phone number wrong (they were one digit short) for 7 years and I only found out by accident. I probably should have had a text about this but haven't. But I know my health problems so a text isn't going to make any difference.

@nonicknameseemsavailable I don't think it could be that as I have had my GP call me in the past in regards to my iron levels.

I suspect GPs are going to be inundated tomorrow with people wondering why they’ve received this message.

I thought it might be regarding my daughter (ex preemie, had chronic lung disease etc) but her NNU buddies who went through similar haven’t had the text so I guess not.
