Stock seems too be low and deliveries long.

I need things like toothpaste, shampoo, deodorant etc...

Superdrug don't seem to have anything and the boots site is so slow

All the superkmarkets... You can't get stock

Boots have nothing left but expensive stuff

Superdrug have nothing.

I literally get the CHEAPEST shampoos like the 98p apple ones and there's nothing like that left online.

I really don't have anyone to go

Toothpaste - you could ask your local dentist for samples. They usually have some. Or you can go to a local Indian grocers and buy Indian branded toothpaste if possible - a bit more expensive as it’s imported but it’s to the same standards as the UK

Shampoo - you can use horse shampoo, baby and kids shampoo. Alternatively try shampoo soap bars. Another option is to contact your local hairdresser to sell you shampoo / styling products. A lot of them are selling closed bottles to try and make some money during the pandemic.

Yes it's very difficult to find those things now.
I went to every shop including Boots and could not get any liquid hand soap. And yest they telll you to wash your hands with soap to help prevent catching Covid19 but how can you without soap?

I was very lucky to get a pack of toilet rolls yesterday in Tesco.
I had been trying for nearly a week. If you want toilet rolls it's pot juck if they have them or not. They are the hardest things to get and so are tissues for blowing your noise.

Poundland does a lot of food and toiletries and they have not started to ration anything yet. So I would go there and see if you can get.

Our local Tesco had toothpaste, shampoo, deodorant, shower gel in today, but they’d sold out of the cheaper ones. The ones left were the more expensive brands. No soap at all.

I looked at Lush online, it looks like they had soap, shampoo bars, but obviously that’s a very expensive option.

At the minute it seems to be down to luck whether you can get any of the cheaper brands at the supermarkets.

Re. tissues for blowing noses, I’m thinking I might buy some old fashioned handkerchiefs from somewhere.

My carer actually makes soap, I know it's main ingredients are fat/oil and caustic soda (drain cleaner) I'll ask him for a simple recipe.

He goes on about cold process and hot process and castille. I'm sure there are recipes online.

I think the hot process is the easiest and you will have to sacrifice a pan.

You can actually brush your teeth with water, you won't get the minty taste but the brushing keeps the teeth clean, you can also use baking soda. I've heard of people using salt but I don't think this it is good for the teeth.
