Sore throat isn't a symptom is it?

Just today I have a bit of a sore throat, I don't have a temp (36.3 C). I am slightly headachey and was weezeing a little bit yesterday. Normally I wouldn't give any of this a thought but should I am worried. Was at a family gathering last week before everything was shutdown and a few of them have a cold now. Should I be worried or self isolate?

I also have a very strange sore throat... feels a bit one sided? Not there in the mornings then gets worse throughout the day. Had it for 3/4 days now. Chest feels tight but I feel very anxious and sad at the moment so not sure if that's why....

I too have that odd one sided sore throat. Had it about a week, I now also have intermitent earache/ headache also one sided. It can't be tonsillitis I lost them when I was 11!

I have just been on the nhs symptom checker and entered "sore throat" without coughing or fever, and it came back "you are unlikely to have coronavirus".
So self isolating for two weeks seems extreme if the NHS don't want you to.

Thanks for the Korea link

Horrible taste in my mouth too.

DS was complaining of his eyes being particularly hot too, that’s a new one on me.

Problem is I have chronic health issues anyway and a normal cold causes body aches anyway. It’s very hard to tell what is new pain!
