  • Some people travel a lot. Multiple continents, multiple times a year!
  • My kids really hate school. They have been on lockdown for weeks. They really want to see their friends. But they are prepared to do without as long as they don't have to go to school. Hmm
  • If I had guessed at the number of books I would read on lockdown a month ago, I would have guessed a much higher number than the 1.5 I have actually read

Over to you...

WE DON'T PAY TEACHERS ENOUGH!!!

(Can you tell I'm not enjoying home-schooling?!)

I've learned that while I have anxiety over many things, this sort of thing is not one of them. I'm weirdly relaxed, although I'm used to being shut up at home for weeks on end.

I'm also more of a prepper than I thought. I didn't think I was one at all, our cupboards are full of great ingredients so if you open them there's nothing obvious to eat, but I know I could bake and cook and we could survive for a while. I've even learned new skills making both jam and peanut butter from scratch with food already in the house.

I've also realised how crazy panic buying can be. I thought Christmas was bad. Christmas seems tame now.

That I'm not the type of mother who relishes being trapped with my offspring for days on end.

That I’m fond of my children but not so much that I want to homeschool them Grin

That maybe I should have saved, instead of spending loads on a credit card, on the assumption I could pay it off before the 0% ran out 🤦‍♀️
