  • Some people travel a lot. Multiple continents, multiple times a year!
  • My kids really hate school. They have been on lockdown for weeks. They really want to see their friends. But they are prepared to do without as long as they don't have to go to school. Hmm
  • If I had guessed at the number of books I would read on lockdown a month ago, I would have guessed a much higher number than the 1.5 I have actually read

Over to you...

That blokes do have the ability to wash their hands after using the toilet. Long may it continue..!

SomethingOnce · 18/03/2020 19:51

Brexit... a relatively minor admin situation, not an actual catastrophe.

AdoptedBumpkin · 18/03/2020 19:52

I have a lot of books I haven't read. Still haven't read them yet.

That I live in a beautiful community.

People are metal!!

Kindness is for the vast majority of humans natural.

Problem are dicks.

I hate the works Coronovirus and Clovid-19

I am drinking wine daily

As a SLT trying to do magic with no props and prepare for worst case scenario is FUCKING mind exploding mash in delivering a basic but essential service.

There is loads of conspiracy twats

Communities are the heart of villages

And as much as I disagree with BJ policies, he is one man doing a job that even if you paid me 1B£, I’d turn down, the responsibility he must have on his shoulders is drowning.

HaudYerWheeshtYaWeeBellend · 18/03/2020 20:01

*hate the word Hmm
*people are dicks Angry

toilet paper is the answer to everything ....

the truth in Erma Bombeck’s quote : When humour goes, there goes civilization

LadyTiredWinterBottom2 · 18/03/2020 20:03

I had no idea so many Brits go to Northern Italy on holiday.

Skiing, apparently.

Lllot5 · 18/03/2020 20:05

I’m actually quite sensible. Think I’m getting old.

Shimy · 18/03/2020 20:11

That everything has its moment. One minute you’re a boring old sanitiser, pasta or tinned tomatoe sitting on the shelf, the next you’re being guarded by a security officer with hundreds fighting over you.

Wallabyone · 18/03/2020 20:14

@Shimy that made me laugh a lot, so thank you-I needed it!

NanSlayer · 18/03/2020 20:18

My children will be attending the cub scouts and the girl guides when this mess is over :)

Shimy · 18/03/2020 20:18

@Wallabyone You’re welcome 😉

Iblinkedandiamold · 18/03/2020 20:22

Even when I'm in the house and not working, I can still find excuses for not doing housework.

Fatted · 18/03/2020 20:25

Just how much of what people do on a day to day basis is actually quite pointless. Every one is busy with "important" jobs when in reality the world has kept going just fine without most of them for the last week.

langkaw · 18/03/2020 20:37

That I really love going to work.

I'm not the introvert I thought I was.

That I'm not the type of mother who relishes being trapped with my offspring for days on end.

Smithesque · 18/03/2020 20:39

That both incomes in the house should not be tourism related (both out of work now)

That living in a nice area is a real positive

That I have lovely neighbours

That I like my family

Hulabalula · 18/03/2020 20:40

That if I want my stash of chocolate and crisps to keep me going for a while before I have to obtain some more (I’m high risk) then I’ll probably have to stop eating them quite so often.... Grin

Hulabalula · 18/03/2020 20:40

Oh and I didn’t panic buy. I always have a decent stash Blush

Menora · 18/03/2020 20:40

That I don’t need Facebook and it is bad for your mental wellbeing

IpeartreeI · 18/03/2020 21:18

That paracetamol is an amazing wonder drug, especially when you can't get hold of any.

merryhouse · 18/03/2020 21:37

it's taught my 17yo that you feel a lot better if you get dressed and open the curtains Grin

(he had a temperature on Thursday night. Almost Certainly Not covid19, but he's been ensconced in his room ever since)

Stabbitha · 18/03/2020 22:30

That the most important people in society are generally the lowest paid.

It's so wrong.

LadyTiredWinterBottom2 · 18/03/2020 22:32

That normal people are super heroes.

Weedsnseeds1 · 18/03/2020 22:35

That collecting every mini bar of soap from every hotel I've ever stayed at ( and I am away most weeks for work) was actually genius, not kleptomania Grin

Russellbrandshair · 18/03/2020 22:37

We are only ever two meals away from total anarchy
