I've name changed. I'm an occasional poster and a long time lurker. I'm in Madrid.

What is happening with essential supplies?

What can you do & not do?

It doesn't seem too bad at the moment. We are allowed to go to the supermarket if we go alone. Shelves are emptier but not completely empty.

If we can't work from home we can go out. We can go to the supermarket or chemist.

Have you had CV? Have many you know? What % worried are you about catching it? Do you think it's less likely now due to lockdown?

Might be a silly question but are people still going to work

Do you need permission to be out? Are all bars etc closed?

Are people allowed out to walk the dog?
Has the internet connection been less reliable with more people using it to work from home?

If you work normally are you being paid or working from home? How are people affording their rent/mortgages/bills?

Do you have kids? How are they coping with no school and lockdown? Have they been given homework? Can they go out to exercise or anything?

I haven't had it. I don't personally know anyone. One person at work but I wasn't in contact with them. I wasn't worried at all about catching it. The numbers were really low. They are creeping up but I'm still not that worried. I'm not in a vulnerable group, so even if I did, I hopefully wouldn't be seriously ill.

How long have you been in lockdown? What are you planning to do to occupy yourself?

People are still going to work. You need permission but I'm not sure if people are adhering to that.

All bars and restaurants are closed. What are considered essential services are open but that includes things like opticians and hairdressers.

You can walk a dog, which is proving to be a bit contentious because children aren't allowed out unless there are special circumstances. So it appears that dogs are being treated better than kids to some people.

I presume Amazon has stopped delivering? (Frivolous, but interesting.)

I'm a teacher and I will still be paid if I can do my classes virtually. I am working on that.

I'm very worried about the economy. Plenty of people here will be in dire straits.

Is the rubbish still being collected? Are things still being delivered?

How long, right now, do they say you will have to keep living like this?

Do you know if dental practices are running as normal?

I've got a DS4. It is only day 3 of lockdown so so far not coping too badly. Schools have been closed for a week. We get homework sent but it is more for entertainment than anything at this age.

Do people wear gloves and masks when they are out?

We live in a 45m2 flat. It is very small, which we are used to! But we used to spend a lot of time outdoors. I'm not sure Ds fully understands what is going on.

How are local schools managing to balance closing to pupil, with those (eg medical or emergency services) who don't have childcare

Amazon is still delivering.

Bins are still collected.

Dental practices are open but I don't know if normal service is happening?

Some people wear gloves and masks when out but not everyone. Masks are in short supply.

They have said 15 days lockdown but it will almost certainly be longer.
