If neither you or baby are showing symptoms of Corona I would. This is likely to continue for months

Loppy10 · 15/03/2020 21:06

No

gracepoolesrum · 15/03/2020 21:19

Yes, I'm still going to ours with 10mo. We're low risk and I'm going along with government advice.

Jasquers · 15/03/2020 21:31

No. Why is our Govt advice different to most others? Why would we trust them to look after us? The only ones that can look after our children are us

Adviceplease1234 · 15/03/2020 21:33

No I'm not going as it's not worth the risk. I will go for walk with them though as long as we are well

UsernameUnknownn · 15/03/2020 21:38

No we're not going to ours.

OnlyFoolsnMothers · 15/03/2020 21:39

Yes

legalseagull · 15/03/2020 21:42

Trying to decide myself. Tbh I think I will miss some - the sort in church halls with hundreds of slobbered on toys that never get cleaned. I might still go to the organised-sit in a circle singing type ones. Otherwise I think we'll just be going to the park etc. I won't be going to soft play or anything now. I don't trust them to take hygiene seriously.

IrishMamaMia · 15/03/2020 21:45

I'm trying to do social distancing (within reason I have to run some urgent errands). I'm really sad to miss my groups and my mummy friends but I don't want to sit next to someone with a cold and am wary that I could be out and about spreading asymptomatically myself.
I still have a child at nursery though so it may be completely useless!

mrsed1987 · 15/03/2020 21:49

Personally id go. My 14 month old and many other are in nursery as i have to work, whats the difference. I think its too premature to lockdown yet

GetTheSprinkles · 16/03/2020 13:34

5 of 16 showed up on my

Jasquers · 16/03/2020 13:47

Madness because 5 turned up or because so many didn't turn up? I guess because you were there, you're thinking the latter?

LaLaLaLa22 · 16/03/2020 13:52

Hell no

Mysocalledlifexx · 16/03/2020 13:57

No way would i go ,they say children dont get it bad but its not worth risking it.

Mizydoscape · 16/03/2020 14:18

Interested to see people's responses here. We are 3 sessions into a 10 week term of baby sensory that has been paid up front. Unless they cancel there is no refund. I'm still intending to go on Thursday but will perhaps reconsider if advice changes.

Aria20 · 16/03/2020 14:30

@Mizydoscape I think baby sensory are very good at cleaning all the toys and following guidelines.

Like some others as of last week I've stopped going to the church hall type large baby groups and soft play, but am continuing baby ballet and tumble tots as I know both have put additional measures in place and they keep parents updated weekly by email - there are only 8 toddlers in the class and we are well spaced out too and they've made it clear anyone turning up with a cough will be politely turned away lol!

mamaof2girls · 16/03/2020 14:42

We have had a email from the baby group asking to bring own blankets etc for kids to lie on and if they put anything near mouths etc to take it off then and clean etc! So I do feel better about it all that sense the class isn't fully booked eaither so far so I actually think it could not be much people attending we have been told no refund will be giving eaither get classes back etc once everything is up and running only if they cancel. Only got 2 classes off this month left so not loosing much but we are both well etc but I am also 30 weeks pregnant so we are sort off going into the last few weeks that we can go anyway as it is getting abit much for me getting up and down and chasing her around haha!
