Do you have symptoms? (Covid-19)

How many of you have (had) corona symptoms so far? Coughing-fever-aches

Since government stopped testing mass population, I think we will never know how severe the situation is.

Even if you have mild conditions, feel free to drop a line

Also will be good to hear from people who have recovered or had this virus with mild symptoms, this will help people with anxieties.

Yes, mild symptoms but dry cough. Very unusual for me to have a cough.
Feel ok, tired and run down though.
Mostly bored.

32 no underlying health conditions except overweight and anaemic.

GeordieRacer · 14/03/2020 19:00

Potentially. Had a raised temp and chills, felt rotten and was in bed Thurs and Friday. Also felt queasy though. Now have a tickly throat and a mild cough. Might be covid-19, probably not, but i'm self isolating to be on the safe side.

Bikbikmum · 16/03/2020 20:09

@inselfisolationnow @GeordieRacer have a fast recovery 🙏🏻

Yup tight chest and chest pain.
Breathless when I walk anywhere further than room to room.
Cough.

No temperature.

Started feeling a Bit Shit today but I started the day at 2.30am thanks to a pukey baby.

Luc1nda · 16/03/2020 20:13

Similar here to DontBite. Bit of a cough developing and a slightly tight chest. No fever, no aches or pains.

DICarter1 · 16/03/2020 20:14

I have a cold, slight cough (I cough maybe once an hour), and I’m tired. Oh and slightly tired eyes if that makes sense. No tightness or chest pain.

user34254356 · 16/03/2020 20:16

same here, tickly cough for 3 days, hoping it's due to post nasal drip issues. Achey and tired, no fever so far. Hoping if i don't get worse over the next 4 days then it will be ok.

Ivebeentohellanditscalledikea · 16/03/2020 20:17

Me dry cough and the feeling a cats sitting on my chest. I'm trying to stop feeling guilty for being off work as I never take a day off.

LandOfAThousandJumpers · 16/03/2020 20:24

Tickly chest cough started today very suddenly but not been coughing really frequently. Had some pain/discomfort deeper in my lungs but nothing extreme and no temperature.

Snaptheirfingers · 16/03/2020 20:25

I wonder if symptoms can be quite different?
I have a feeling like I've just smoked 10 + cigarettes. Haven't smoked for years but I was in Italy last week.
I'm more tired than usual. I'm self isolating obviously, so won't pass on to others. I just hope that if I have CV I am developing antibodies and I'll be able to get back to work when others are succumbing so I can continue to service the public.

Ivebeentohellanditscalledikea · 17/03/2020 09:35

I am coughing more today and just chocked on some toast and was sick. Still not feeling ill enough to be off.

Hattie78 · 17/03/2020 09:37

Yes. Raised temp, cough, painfully tight chest and very lethargic - whole body aches. Feeling rotten but no worse than any previous chest infection.

BigTikes · 17/03/2020 09:37

I can’t believe no one is going to know if they’ve had it or not because they’re not testing. How on earth is that okay? They will have no figures for recovery/ mild illness etc.

FenellaVelour · 17/03/2020 09:41

Dry cough and tight chest this morning, no fever, feel ok but am not doing too much physically.

I was nauseous and sick Sunday night all through yesterday but that has passed.

clumsyduck · 17/03/2020 09:48

I saw some stats about symptoms experienced I believe from patients in China , on a bbc news article earlier I’ve seen it somewhere else couple days ago to and more symptoms were presented than just dry cough and fever

For example - phlegm in over 30 percent of cases . Unless I’m missing something this doesn’t seem to be mentioned in official advice as a symptom infact I know of people who are actively saying oh no I just have a cold because that’s not a symptom . Confused

JigsawsAreCool · 17/03/2020 09:48

I have temp, woke shivering at 4am. Sore throat.

Feel not great but not worst I've ever felt.

Could be covid19 could be any other random virus. Tricky to know.

Neverworkwithchildrenoranimals · 17/03/2020 09:54

I’ve kept my 7 yr old DD off school today with very mild symptoms. Slightly wheezy, coughing every now and then. No temperature. Fine in herself. I don’t know if the whole family should all be isolating for 14 days or see how it develops.

AgentPrentiss · 17/03/2020 09:57

I’ve had a cough for a few days (not unusual for me) but I’ve also had a killer headache. I very very very rarely get headaches.

I have been helping an older lady in my community with quite a lot of things around her home, as she had been unwell. She wasn’t tested for CV19 but apparently has pneumonia.

Ivebeentohellanditscalledikea · 17/03/2020 09:58

@Neverworkwithchildrenoranimals you should all be off for two weeks.

z0fl0ra · 17/03/2020 09:59

I’ve got a cough but I’ve had it for about 2 weeks, feeling very run down and shivery but have an awful cold that’s making breathing through my nose impossible which is making me feel relief as my other symptoms will just be the cold and not COVID which is good because I visit vulnerable people in their houses for work and live in a household of 6

Bikbikmum · 20/03/2020 22:51

Thanks for sharing! Hope you all get well very soon. It is annoying that they don't test anymore

OP posts:
Parkandride · 20/03/2020 22:59

Dry cough has started this evening, and thinking about it I've been breathing heavily for a couple of days. Temperature is normal so who knows.
I don't go anywhere so it'll be annoying if I have it! Plus my hands are so dry from all the washing

HonestlyItsFine · 20/03/2020 23:03

About 2 weeks ago I was very achy and completely wiped out- slept on and off for two days. Woke up soaked in sweat a couple of times.
Could be it, could have just been exhaustion. I'll never know.

Toseland · 20/03/2020 23:03

I can’t believe no one is going to know if they’ve had it or not because they’re not testing. How on earth is that okay? They will have no figures for recovery/ mild illness etc.
The Government should sort themselves out and give everyone a test or send us a home test (ideally). We could better plan medical resources then. They are way behind and have been caught snoozing on the job.

eandz13 · 20/03/2020 23:11

I've had the typical symptoms and been pretty wiped out the past few days. Started with sore throat and head ache, progressed in to muscle aches, chills and fever, cough that feels like it's going to pull my lungs up with it.. but it's turned into quite a productive cough by day 6 and is phlegmy so who knows! It is a ball ache that tests aren't available now because if this is just a flu and I go out and catch covid when my isolations up I'll be well miffed.
