to wonder where Boris is?

2 Press conferences from the USA in 2 days.
Clearly stating what they are doing.
Lots of questions being asked.

Where is our leader?
Who is providing leadership at the moment?

Self isolating? He looked a bit clammy in the last press conference.

Bluebird29 · 14/03/2020 17:12

He looked like he was so far out of his depth that he couldn’t find his depth with a ladder. Not what he had in mind when he decided to be PM.

MouthBreathingRage · 14/03/2020 17:14

Quite honestly, I'm getting quite bored of the weekly game of Where's Wally/Boris. He doesn't care to show his face unless theres an election, he can only manage the fake 'funny bumbling chappie' act for so long. What were people expecting, honestly?

Witchend · 14/03/2020 17:15

Isolating. Wasn't he in a meeting with the health minister just before she was diagnosed.

chomalungma · 14/03/2020 17:21

I think that people are watching the USA and can relate to some of it - mainly because of the language and familiarity - and hearing some different messages.

We aren't getting many press conferences like this. Just interviews on TV.

KimMumsnet · 14/03/2020 17:22

Hiya, all. Putting this thread over in the Coronavirus topic now.
Thanks.
Kim

katmandoo · 14/03/2020 17:24

This is asking where he is not about cronovirus!

StSaulOfSnacks · 14/03/2020 17:26

In meetings I assume. He gave a lengthy press conference just the other day. Not a fan if his by any means.

chomalungma · 14/03/2020 17:28

This is asking where he is not about cronovirus

Indeed. We are lacking leadership at the moment.

Probably toting up the money the government will save when he has killed off lots of us with his inaction.

MinkowskisButterfly · 14/03/2020 17:31

*totting although my phone wanted to change to rotting ...

fedup21 · 14/03/2020 17:31

Trump is handling things better than him-scary times!

confusedandtired99 · 14/03/2020 17:32

He’s obviously in a fridge

TheMostHappy · 14/03/2020 18:12

Probs down at the Winchester with a nice cold pint, waiting for all this to blow over. 🍻

@fedup21 very true

Barracker · 14/03/2020 18:22

Think you may have jumped the gun quarantining this thread @KimMumsnet!

It's not particularly about the virus, it's about the absence of our Prime Minister at this time.

SilverySurfer · 14/03/2020 18:50

Where the fuck do you think he is? You seriously have nothing better to do than take pot shots at someone who is currently dealing with a major crisis? It's a bit pathetic.

chomalungma · 14/03/2020 19:07

Where the fuck do you think he is

Trump has been giving visible leadership over the past few days - as well as dealing with this crisis.

The nation is hearing conflicting advice. Where is our leader?

OP posts:
Butterwhy · 14/03/2020 19:10

Probably in meetings, briefings and maybe having a few moments to himself as he is human. Would you like him to do a press conference everyday? Trump has done several but things have changed and they are implementing new things, when we do here I am sure he will do the same.

AllTheWhoresOfMalta · 14/03/2020 19:21

Didn’t you see him on the news earlier?

to wonder where Boris is?
