Anyone got symptoms?

We're Brighton so a few cases here, I work in a hospital and the kids are.... well, their kids.

Two youngest DS were really unwell last week with a temp of 40-41, one of them I couldn't get the temp down and he ended up in A&E, followed by a consistent cough.

They never mentioned corona and neither did we since we hadn't been abroad.

Now eldest DC and I have high temperatures and the feeling of squeezing in our chest, harder to draw in breath as though someone's pushing on our chests. The coughing has started today.

Spoke to another parent who's child is off who has the same symptoms and she thinks her DD has it.

Obvs we're self isolating but it's too late, we have been in contact with countless people, there's 5 of us! 5 different schools/work places.

Anyone else the same??

I’ve got an appt with my GP this eve - I’m still ridiculously breathless & weak doing anything. I know the receptionists are having a hard time but there was no need for the patronising way she spoke to me on the phone. “If you haven’t been out of the country or in direct contact with anyone with corona then you’ve probably just got a cold” 🤬🤬 I’m old enough to know what’s a cold and what’s not. She very reluctantly gave me an appt. I never said I thought I had corona - I just told her the symptoms I had (fever, dry cough, breathlessness) so that she had all the info
