Overhearing in cafe

Im in a cafe and next to 3 men in a business meeting talking about coronavirus how it will impact their company, intresting and also slightly terrifying

Our business is probably screwed. We work in aerospace. No flights = no work. We can probably last a few months but add to corona virus a couple of late paying clients and things are very precarious!

OMG. Everyone head to their emergency bunkers NOW!!!

I havent really seem anyone in RL talking about it so when i heard people talking about their business it made it seem very real and the dynamics betwern them intrested me hence post

Bunkers made entirely of loo roll and tinned tomatoes...

I found this thread hilarious - I literally got the giggles for about 20 minutes! But I also really warmed to the OP who sounds lovely and gracious in the face of such ridicule.

Did I used to date you? I once dated a guy who said he would tell me a very astonishing story. Then talked about a dinner where he said something not important and a guy who was present and was a professor agreed with him. Dating guy then stopped talking and beamed at me. I asked if that was it? He said yes. I asked what the astonishing part was? Apparantly that a professor spoke to him. Due to my job at the time I was speaking to professors all over the world on a daily basis. I pointed out that they were just people with a job. Didn't last long, that one.
