Overhearing in cafe

Im in a cafe and next to 3 men in a business meeting talking about coronavirus how it will impact their company, intresting and also slightly terrifying

Weirdly no-one I know in real life mentions CV.
The fear is obviously there, but so are other every day worries.
CV doesn't lessen other problems.
I think we must either live in a town of denial or people are so laid down with other worries that they just don't have the energy.

Too true. I stood on the corner this morning having a similar conversation with a friend of mine after the school run. Fortunately nobody looks twice at two middle-aged mums having a natter outside Tesco's. Never mind that we both know quite a lot about quite a lot of Very Important Things.

As it is, sound like society in general. Some people think its over the top. Some are probably too relax and some people are in the middle.

I think you saw irl a clear example of how people are about this. People do seem to fall into one of three clear camps and it was a good illustration of this :)
