Disneyland Paris in April

Going to spend two nights in Paris, then going to Disneyland Paris via Chunnel for four days in early April and and then a nearby Centerparcs style thing nearby for four days afterwards. Travelling with my husband and four year old child... Or am I? Discuss.

Pretty depressed about this whole thing tbh

I'm extremely burnt out from months of travelling away for 2-4 nights a week, and lack of sleep

Then Disneyland was not the right choice in the first place. Having been there I can honestly say it was the most tiring and stressful holiday ever.

I would like to rebook Disney for another time but they seem determined to keep it open with all of the main things my DC wanted to see being closed!

You can reschedule for free now. Just done the same myself. Changed trip in 2 weeks to going in July.

I don't think you will have much choice, but it's a shame so many people need to wait for the government not to do things.

It's not just a cold - people in their 20s are on respirators in hospital. No they're not dying, but they are finding it hard to breathe and more vulnerable people are dying.

It's rubbish but considering what you been through, keep your family close and keep them safe.

What’s wrong with those people???

Disneyland Paris will close from Sunday until the end of March. I know it doesn't effect you OP but in case anyone else is booked to go.

I'm thankful as we were due to fly on Monday and couldn't get a refund unless they declared they were closing or there was a travel ban.

I have contacted Disneyland for a refund, as I knew in my heart I would always have to do. We may not get the money back for the second part of our holiday, which is at Les Villages Nature nearby (because yes, I am aware Disneyland is not relaxing). As I said/indicated though, it's not about the money. It'll be good to claw some of it back but not as good as it would be to spend some time with my family that doesn't involve crawling up the walls in enforced quarantine.

But then, nobody's getting a break right now. My in-laws flew out to Spain for a week yesterday... They're on the way home now. My father in law is hugely immunocompromised. I love them to bits, but wow. It's even worse when they went to Turkey just after a load of bombings.

@libbylove at least they are on the way home and not stuck out there.
