What to do in self-isolation

A friend of mine has just returned from a two-week break in a place that has been categorised as high risk whilst she was there. She has no symptoms but has been advised by work to self-isolate. She has no symptoms, and no children so her time is all hers.

Does anyone have any suggestions for something to send her/leave on her doorstop/advise her to do to keep the boredom at bay?

Can you walk dogs outside and not go near anyone if you are self isolating?

Books and painting kits (adult paint by numbers).

I'd also clean and paint my ceiling

I think that would be ok as long as you really didn't interact with anyone else or touch anything other people might then touch. Dogs and children would still need walking!

Play scrabble on the internet.

Maybe make something, crocheted or knitted.

Have a look at smoe MOOCs.

Netflix obviously.

Stock up my kindle and read, read, read.

I’d love two weeks on my own at home. I’d do a deep clean and sort of every room. I’d read some of my cook books and do meal planning for future. There are so many books and movies I’d love to have time for.

The reality would be a houseful if kids and trying to keep them entertained!!!

Spring clean.
Gardening.
Selling things on Ebay.
Charity bag fill.
Empty cupboards of out of date produce.
That project that she bought the kit for but just hasn't sat down and started...

Projecting a bit here but actually using the machine and kit to clean the carpets. Not walking past it all thinking 'Oh I must do that.'

My plan is gardening, house decorating, studying, getting fit, spring clean and sorting out my garage. Plenty to keep myself busy.
