Chronic illness/immuno suppressed support thread?

I'm trying not to get too worried about Corona virus, bit hard when it's all over the place.

I have a chronic illness and taking chemo tablets, so my immune system isn't at its best at the minute.

I've got a head cold which started on Monday, no temperature. I've not been in contact with anyone known to have CV, or not been on holiday anywhere known to have an outbreak. No people in my city have been confirmed as having it. Trying not be silly about symptoms as it's nothing that I've not had before.

Anyone else flapping a little? Could do with some support, if only to mentally slap me.

Am joining this thread having just had the text saying I'm in the v high risk group

I take azathioprine for Crohn's, but I'm on a tiny dose of 50mg, been on it for 20+ years and never had any problem with my blood tests/white cell count. The Crohn's website puts azathioprine in the moderate category, not v high risk

So I've made an appt to talk to the Doctor about it tomorrow. I don't think I should be in the group necessarily. I also have very mild asthma.

Has anyone else had a text yet?

i have already been hibernating for 2 weeks and dd and dh for a week, just walking in the park at a good distance from others (15+ feet, often no one around)

Going to call 111 since the online thing suggested it I expect they'll just say to let them know if things get worse. Keep getting a scratchy throat & fatigue but they come & go over the last few days. A little bit of back pain & feeling a bit achy. I hope it's nothing & just me magnifiying everything because of the situation. I really can't be arsed with this!
