While some were released in the ceasefire, Israel still holds 80 Palestinian medical workers without charge. Their families are demanding their freedom.

A similar thread for all Palestinian dead it would run for 164 years, if you don’t find that offensive something is wrong with you

Can it be assumed you are including Palestinian terrorists, including the terrorists and their civilian supporters who committed the atrocities of Oct 7th and took hostages which started this war, in ‘all the Palestinian dead’ using the terrorist run health ministry figures?

It is this subterfuge in which civilians aren’t differentiated from combatants and combatants admit the use civilians as human shields/sacrifices that led to the high (reported by the terrorists) civilian death toll in the first place. As well as the extraordinary refusal to surrender to prevent more deaths when they were fighting a losing battle as defined in the normal definition of a war, and the complete lack of safe refuge for uninvolved civilians which again is extraordinary when they actively invited a war into their highly populated territory.

If you don’t find that offensive, I’d say there was something wrong with you.

@TooTightDiamondShoesDoingMyHeadIn as a mother… agreed.

while I don’t agree with terrorism I do recognise that terrorists are human and I think they should be afforded basic human rights surely that is what would differentiate a state from a terrorist organisation? You might not

but if we go by your logic and remove combatants using *idf figures the list would still run for 131 years approx and that is using conservative figures. Is that acceptable to you???

note the headline refers to casualties not deaths so 200000 is not the figure I used but the article gives idf estimations

@Everexpandingi can’t tell you how many ‘human rights’ were broken on October 7th.
