Can we talk about Yahya Sinwar’s wife’s $32,000 hand bag please?

Yeah so this has come to light this evening:

https://x.com/AvichayAdraee/status/1847738011435635085

On the eve of the 7th October Sinwar was seen entering the tunnels below Gaza in order to make himself and his family safe. He stocked up on supplies (and a TV) knowing full well he was leaving Gazans above to be his human shields.

And yes, his wife was carrying a fucking BIRKIN BAG. Street value $32,000. How many hot meals would that have bought children in Gaza, I wonder?

So the next time David Lammy brags about restoring funding to UNWRA, think of where your tax money is going...buying accessories for the WAGs of genocidal death cult leaders.

Terrorism. What a grift.

Any other links about this in English? I don't read the language in the tweet so tbh I'm having to take what you say about it on trust.

EveSix · 20/10/2024 01:19

Is it, though? I had a cursory look and don't think it looks quite right.

TooBigForMyBoots · 20/10/2024 01:24

Those two bags aren't the same.

JaneJeffer · 20/10/2024 01:48

T-emu version

Cremacreme · 20/10/2024 01:59

Does anyone believe terrorists care about others?

Toomanywars · 20/10/2024 07:31

There's a lot of aid money as well as the general money collected by hamas from its people. It is well known that leaders of hamas lived in Qatar as millionaires. I imagine its spent on whatever they want. Always encouraged to not move on, prior to Oct 7th and to constantly keep hatred going.

DanielaDressen · 20/10/2024 07:33

Doesn’t look like a Birkin 🤷‍♀️

VictoryPending · 20/10/2024 08:16

This seems like a propaganda piece created to support a narrative. It could very well be a fake designer bag and the photo is very unclear.

Username19781209 · 20/10/2024 08:18

That is not a birkin.

LoudSnoringDog · 20/10/2024 08:40

Looks like one from the night market in koh samui

That aside, it's well known that Hamas ( and all other terrorist organisations) cream off the funding provided to them and live general lives of luxury. The poor people exploited in the belief that these animals are fighting for their cause are the ones who suffer.

soupfiend · 20/10/2024 08:43

I wouldnt know a designer handbag if it hit me in the face or whether its off a market stall, but yes Im not particularly surprised that leaders of any sort live the life of luxury, thats normally how it goes isnt it?

Is there a surprise about that?

Animatic · 20/10/2024 08:50

Abd why are we discussing this on MN? To support Israel BS propaganda justifying the genocide?

deviantfeline · 20/10/2024 08:53

That's not a Birkin FFS

Lauging at how people don’t believe a man literally richer than Kim Kardashian wouldn’t be in possession of a Birkin Bag. Wow the pro Hamas propaganda has got you good, hasn’t it.

Just ignore this troll people. Click bait bullshit

FrenchBread · 20/10/2024 09:53

I don't know about the bag's origin but it's very well known hamas creams off aid money.

To dispute that is blinding oneself to the greed of these vile monsters sitting in their millionaire homes in quatar directing terror while their people (who they openly admit should be martyred) suffer.

hamas don't give one shit about the women and children of gaza or any aid for them.

Kindatired · 20/10/2024 10:01

Hamas is a terrorist organisation that extorts money from smugglers. Why would anyone be surprised to see the trappings of wealth? Displays of wealth are a sign of success and power. I don’t think I’d make an offer for the bag if it were on eBay though.
Hamas was supported by Netanyahu to prevent progress peaceful two state solution. The last election was a long long time ago

Yes this is why, pretty poor attempt though in my opinion by the OP.

Scirocco · 20/10/2024 10:04

It's a really unattractive bag. Overpriced, too.

No evidence of it coming from UNRWA though.

Kakeandkake · 20/10/2024 10:08

OP instead of fixating on a fake bag, why don't you go and check how many people Israel killed in Gaza last night? In a matter of seconds after bombing a residential area, there were dozens dead. And this is REAL news.

STOP THE GENOCIDE!

I wouldnt have thought there are pots of petty cash which are labelled 'shopping' 'sundries' 'gas bill' etc etc

At the end of the day, all of these types of organisations and regimes feather their own nests, they are interested in power and control, just like any leader/those in power

FrenchBread · 20/10/2024 10:19

@Kakeandkake what do you think of hamas and isis and the genocide they are causing to Muslims, Yazidis and any other under their dictatorship?

Scirocco · 20/10/2024 10:23

Maybe instead of talking about what looks like a Temu-quality handbag (even if it's an actual designer bag, it just looks cheap and like something you'd see wielded by an angry pensioner in a bingo hall dispute), we could instead think about how more than 70 people were killed by the IDF in the bombing of a residential area last night.
