Yeah so this has come to light this evening:

https://x.com/AvichayAdraee/status/1847738011435635085

On the eve of the 7th October Sinwar was seen entering the tunnels below Gaza in order to make himself and his family safe. He stocked up on supplies (and a TV) knowing full well he was leaving Gazans above to be his human shields.

And yes, his wife was carrying a fucking BIRKIN BAG. Street value $32,000. How many hot meals would that have bought children in Gaza, I wonder?

So the next time David Lammy brags about restoring funding to UNWRA, think of where your tax money is going...buying accessories for the WAGs of genocidal death cult leaders.

Terrorism. What a grift.

Very much a flavour of "dont look over there, look over here" on this thread

I would imagine any post about the conflict in the Middle East should be alllowed to highlight the hypocrisy of terrorists leaders.

There's absolute hypocrisy in how terrorist leaders buy fancy things and live in luxury as people starve. It's disgusting. It's also disgusting to weaponise that to try to discourage people supporting the provision of life-saving aid to people, which is what this thread was intending.

Custardcream84 · 20/10/2024 14:21

Are you genuinely that stupid that you think this is a Birkin bag. God I used to think people who fell for propaganda in the two world wars were thick but given the time I got it. This is just beyond parody it really is

Woman with poor taste in men also found to have poor taste in bags and a distinct lack of class.

queenofarles · 21/10/2024 03:33

As an owner of several Birkins , I can safely say , you really don’t know what a Birkin looks like OP.

"Abd why are we discussing this on MN? To support Israel BS propaganda justifying the genocide?"

I have no idea whether the handbag story is true or not and to be honest I don't care either way.

But what is interesting is that you see any post critical of Hamas (true or not) as "propaganda justifying the genocide". Which would in turn indicate your objection to any criticism of Hamas.

Lastly congratulations on getting two bullshit bingo buzzwords into one sentence "Israel BS propaganda justifying the genocide?"

Could I suggest for next time "the fascist Israeli BS apartheid propaganda justifying the genocide by carpet bombing"

stop funding the poor displaced Gazans, the money is spent on shopping sprees at the local Hermes store 🙄.

As opposed to bribes, tunnels & terrorism , designer bags seem quite harmless.

Last I checked all money goes through Israel , all construction work is monitored , Israel has put a ban on certain materials sold into Gaza.
but that’s not the point let’s legitimise all the starvation and killings because all funds goes towards handbags.

How exactly are you checking that?

ChardonnaysBeastlyCat · 21/10/2024 13:56

Surely not!

PP has checked it all and it’s legit.

queenofarles · 21/10/2024 16:59

aid is fully coordinated with the Israeli authorities, the U.S. government and the United Nations. All goods such as food, medicine and fuel pass directly through Israel before entering Gaza,
salaries go through the same network , prior to that, it was cash in bags per the Agreement with the Israel and US ,

this information has been shared on this forum over and over again for a year now.

So Reuters and NBC are wrong in your opinion?

queenofarles · 21/10/2024 17:33

I actually got that from NBC ,CNN, AP , look it up yourself , the only way for the money to get into Gaza is through US/UN/Qatar/Israel.

Have you personally checked all the smuggling tunnels?

I don't know about the bag's origin but it's very well known hamas creams off aid money.

To dispute that is blinding oneself to the greed of these vile monsters sitting in their millionaire homes in quatar directing terror while their people (who they openly admit should be martyred) suffer.

hamas don't give one shit about the women and children of gaza or any aid for them.

There's plenty you can criticise him for, however there's no evidence that Sinwar or the Hamas leadership ever lived in luxury in Qatar or anywhere else.
Bearing in mind that Israel have spent hundreds of millions of dollars funding Hamas you'd think they'd have some hard evidence of that money being spent on luxury living if that were the case.
For years Israel has pushed this "life of luxury narrative" then unwittingly exposed it as rubbish, when they published pictures of Sinwar who had clearly been killed fighting alongside the people he commanded.
His wifes handbag is a desperate attempt to steer the narrative back to the "luxury lifestyle" they all lead.
