Internet and phones out in Gaza, ground invasion imminent

As per channel 4 news tonight.
Increased fears for potential hospital attacks, escalating attacks, and now people unable to even call for ambulances. News outlets unable to know what’s actually going on. I just feel so sick, helpless and terrified for the people of Gaza 💔.

Well reports on Israel tonight look like it's getting a bit of bombing too...

@SaintMarie Ukraine war has shown the West to be utterly devoid of morals and was quite clearly backing the horse that would rain on Russia's parade, and not because they cared about the plight of the people in the war.

They don't give a crap about Palestinian civilians either.

The civilians are being used like pawns. Israeli military telling them to run South before they are bombed. Where are they supposed to go? And Hamas who they voted to represent them don't give a shit about them either. Sickening.

The point has been made that if Israel stop to get hostages back from Hamas, it will mean that more hostages will be taken by Hamas.

I don’t think Israelis realise that it’s not the holocaust that people will remember as part of Jewish history but the genocide of Gaza. Shame on Israel.

Wiping the extermination of 6 million people out of memory would be shameful and dishonest.

Things are not either / or.

I will not defend the actions of the Israeli Gvt, but the holocaust was against Jews for being Jewish. Nothing to do with their nationality or a battle for land or territory.

I can see from the Israeli perspective that it dampens communication between hamas members. But the toll on normal people will be immense, not being able to access information (whats happening, where, are your family and friends ok, calling for help) is going to be awful. People must be terrified.

Also agree dragging the holocaust into this furthers nothing except to have a pop at Jews who will have a diverse range of views on all this.
