Israel has just told Al Quds hospital to evacuate (verifiable on instagram from various official sources, also Al Jazeera) 12,000 people are sheltering in hospital. Where do they want to go?

Beyond that will blame the other “team/guys” again??

Good on the Palestinian Red Crescent for publishing the warning. Sunlight is the only thing that might save those people.

Nobody with an ounce of sense believes the other hospital massacre was caused by a stray acme rocket ffs.

MatthewsMumFromTikTok · 20/10/2023 18:59

Can't see this reported on as yet

It's on the Guardian.

Palestine Red Crescent says Israeli army demanding evacuation of Al-Quds hospital

saffronsoup · 20/10/2023 19:09

There was some reports that the pervious hospital had also received a warning bfore it was bombed. Unfortunately these warnings are pointless - the people are trapped with nowhere to go. It is almost cruel to give warnings when you know no one can leave or get away. Thousands more will die. This is what war is. Death and destruction.

Thank you for the thread. I have just seen this
Absolutely horrific

Barbaric. How are they supposed to move the sick and injured? In the middle of the night as well.

Parkingt111 · 20/10/2023 19:10

Unfortunately one of the reasons aid is not coming into gaza is because Israel is saying fuel is not allowed to come in

Fuel that is desperately needed by hospitals to run life saving equipment

flufferknutter · 20/10/2023 19:11

I suppose if the patients are killed within a building then the bodies won't be found, thus hiding the war crime.

I agree, it's barbaric. It feels like they're only telling them so they can say well we told them to evacuate, it's not our problem if they didn't listen. 😔

I think it was Dr Rosena the MP for Tooting, who is an A and E dr, who said it would be hard for hospitals in the west with money and no logistic issues etc in a war zone impossible.

Yes I was just saying in another thread that when my baby who was on a ventilator was moved from one hospital to another it took hours and so many different people and services involved. It was such a stressful time.
This was just one baby

How can they move 400 patients and also move them to where?? All the hospitals are either full or have been bombed

MatthewsMumFromTikTok · 20/10/2023 19:21

I suppose the electric going will kill them if not the bomb or missive.

Horrific all round

MatthewsMumFromTikTok · 20/10/2023 19:21

How much of a warning will they get? An hour? A day?

flufferknutter · 20/10/2023 19:22

They can't move them and the doctors who have been interviewed have said they're not leaving their patients. I suppose that's useful to the attackers because it'll mean there'll be no more medics to save any lives. This will hasten the eradication process.

Wtf?

ssd · 20/10/2023 19:24

What will Netanyahu blame this hospital attack on???

saffronsoup · 20/10/2023 19:32

Giving a warning is simply a protocol step so they can say those who were killed chose to stay there and be killed despite being warned to leave. We see that sentiment countless times on these threads that those who die chose not to leave when they were told so their death is their own fault and not Israel's fault. It is quite interesting to me how many twist very situation to make Israel blameless. For many, Israel can do no wrong.

One positive glimmer is that Hamas has started to release foreign hostages. Two American women (a mother and daughter - Judith and Natalie Ranaan) have been released. I saw previously Hamas had said they would do this and glad to see it is actually happening.

Probably the elderly people who can't move out of bed, but they're all Hamas fighters don't you know.
