Monkey so sorry you are having to go through this. But please try and hold onto the fact that 1/30 means that there are 29 chances that it is a healthy baby. I know I read some threads about very positive outcomes recently with similar if not worse odds, I think it was in the PG section though not in the testing one. Will try and see if I can find the one I mean. Hope the CVS goes ok tomorrow. Will be thinking of you.

Cupcake very glad the move went well and you can still get on MN. Your DH sounds lovely. Don't worry about your pre-preg bras, if you can't get in them afterwards, then there is a perfect excuse to go and buy some more (there is always a silver lining you see). I started serious runnning after I had DTs with the result that my (.)(.) shrunk! DH was most pleased when I got PG again as they expanded again very rapidly.

Iggy very sensible to move beforehand if you can. Have never heard of hot milk? Is that a shop?

So on the plus side, my temperature has gone so the antibiotics are working and hopefully I won't have to go back to the hospital. However, I have the headache from hell which 3 different types of painkillers are not shifting. Phoned the Drs this morning who said it could be the antibiotics or the anaemia and if it was still bad tomorrow to call back. I suspect its the anaemia because I had it before I started the antibiotics, and if thats the case I need to get my iron up quick because its doing my head in (literatlly).

I have however eaten 1 bag of mini eggs today , mourned the fact that I can't find a chocolate orange easter egg for love nor money (any ideas???) and ordered some OPKs and HPTs over t'internet. Would you believe I gave mine away to my little sis the day before the scan as I wouldn't need them anymore

Off to interview a childminder later, my childcare nightmare is whole other story which I won't bore you with at the moment....

I?ve been really busy with constant breast feeding, Barbie Isabelle does that to m nipple too ? half way through feeding decides to turn round and look at something interesting and takes my nipple with her!! I was surprised how far it stretches!!

Curly well done for getting out and having your hair done. With our babies being born on the same day I feel I should be getting out too. It?s a bit hard with DH working so many hours, though I?ve been expressing like mad and have about 20 feeds in the freezer just in case!!! OK that?s it I?m off to plan an escape a trip out!

Hurrah for BabyNeeko - both my labours started like that, a great early warning sign. And with both contractions started within a few hours, so it could still be today!! Does anyone have today in the sweepstake?

Guess what I've been doing, instead of studying, naughty Vjay. I though I would take a look at what we were doing this time last year, so I checked out our old thread. It's so nice to see that we've all stayed together. There have been some pretty rough times and some absolutly fab times. I ended up going back to when I got my BFP with Ajay, what a journey, and I mean for everyone not me. This is a great thread and long may it continue

We saw DH BF who DH is meant to be best man too earlier today, last time we saw him they changed their date to day after baby due , now they have postponed indefinately (quite pleased really!) so remember these venues are used to all that!

Our ante natal class was great, albeit a bit scary & graphic, but also very very exciting, and makes it all seem really real we are having a baby! Has helped my weebles I think... Tomorrow getting a washing machine service ready for washing all babys new clothes & blankets, cos at weekend DH is getting bags out of loft ready to start packing! On weds after work (which Im only doing half days til I leave in 3wks!) Im gonna have some quality time with just me & mum, to go Debenhams & stock up on Clarins, and poss some (Ted) Baker Baby bits (my surname as most of you know!) I figure thats some more therapeutic stuff for me to do!

Vjay - glad the weaning is going well and you're not too . Six months is bloody marvellous. Neeko - great tip re: formula during the night! When DS1 went on to a bottle it was hit or miss whether he needed a night time feed so I used to sterelise a bottle and put it in my vacum insolated bag and use the pre packed cartons which I snipped and poured in at required time and they were at room temp...

moon - sorry TEW has turned up but you can go full steam ahead (for this month anyway) with all things wedding .

Sorry for lack of further personals and thanks for feeding advice. I'm thinking the milk is a bit of a red herring as have cut it out and B still fretting although has had a good day only one feed was fussy. I think he is just a colicky baby and will hopefully grow out of it... He's healthy and chunky and has rolls of fat so I must be doing something right!

4ever glad you had a good experience at your antenatal classes. Sounds like you have had quite a journey to get to where you are now 30 weeks is a lovely stage to be at, bumps getting nice and big and even though it feels like forever, you are getting so close now. I completely understand about the 'loop in your head' and it really is good to offload some of that.

Neeko's contractions did start before she went to hospital, they were coming every 10 minutes. So excited for her. Hope it's a quick one. I don't think I'll sleep tonight as I'll have my phone glued to my hand!

Monkey I don't know what to say. What a horribly worrying year you have had. Like the others said there are 29 chances that your baby is fine. I have a friend who's blood tests came back with bad results so she had an amnio which showed that the baby is ok & she is due to give birth next weekend. I've heard that the blood tests are only about 60-70% accurate. Is a cvs more accurate than an amnio? Will be thinking about you tomorrow.

Louey I had really chronic headaches after each mc, like 4ever said it's the hormone crash. I'm really touched about what you said about the October thread. I know how hard it can be as I as was on two different antenatal threads last year with some of the ladies on this thread & had to drop out of both of them.

Gracie did you actually managed to get out of your pj's before the outlaws arrived or did you open the door half dressed, baby hanging off boob, greasy hair scowling "Wot?"!!

Vjay that was very foolish brave of you looking at the thread from last year! I definitely do not want to revisit any of it! I had one of these for nighttime feeds, it saved my sanity.

Moon how are things between you & df now?

Cupcake so happy that everything is coming together for you. Did you cry when you got home & saw the cot??! Yes you will have a bit of a flood situation on your hands (& in your pants!) after the birth but don't worry that's not the painful bit! Seriously have you checked out the size of those maternity pads, they are like mattresses! The worst of the bleeding calms down a few hours after the birth, then it is just like a period for a few weeks.

Barbie I remember the whole rubber-nipple thing when I was breastfeeding. How far do small babies think our nipples stretch, ouch!

Iggy have you had anyone round to look at the house yet?
