I look like I am pregnant???

I was on here last month because I suspected I might be pregnant, I had all the symptoms. I got some early detection tests and tested a couple of days before I was due but got BFN, then my period came but was so light and at points actually stopped. I really thought I was pregnant and tested after I finished but still BFN. Anyway I forgot all about it and I have continued as normal, was out at the weekend and got very very drunk. Today I put on a tight vest that I only wore the other week and was suprised at the shape of my stomach. It is sticking out alot more than normal, high and and round and quite firm. I said nothing and waited to see if my partner noticed and straight away when I walked in the room , he was like "Look at your stomach, I hope your not pregnant with all that alcohol you drank on Saturday"...

I have heard storied about people doing lots of tests and getting BFN for a couple of months. If I am pregnant it would mean that I am about 6.5 weeks approx - would I show this early wit a second pregnancy? I mean my stomach is not massive but I am quite slim, if I had just put some weight on surely it would go around my hips, bum, face etc...not just cause a high tight bump - what do you reckon? Shall I test or sit tight and wait for next period whaich is not due until the end of next week? Also last week I broke out in lots of spots which I only normally get the week before I am due.

Yes - thats true! My gp is great at making you feel like you are wasting his time so I would have to have a good excuse.

My period is due next Friday 29th, I usually get a few cramps a couple of days before, spots and moodiness so we'll see...

I have to say that when wee'd on the stick, normally the dye becomes visible straight away so you know ist working but with this test nothing happended not sure how long but it felt like ages, I actually tried my hardest to wee on it again and then after about 10 seconds the second time round weeing the dye slowly filled the windows so maybe it was faulty. I have used that test before and as soon as i put the stick back in the cap the dye is visible...

I hate this waiting

you aren't wasting the gp's time you have a legitimate medical question and you have tried to answer it yourself unsucessfully, that's what he's there for not just when you are at deaths door, can you really wait until the 29th to answer this and why should you (also whose to say it will get answered then?)

went to docs today and she just said it sounds like i may be pregnant??? and that my test sounded faulty.

she said I would be about 6 weeks and that i should buy another test like clearblue today to confirm. they do not do urine pregnancy tests anymore only blood tests. said she will do a blood test tomorrow if i want.

so... another test!

trying4bump - i like you have got a bump from nowhere, but would only be 2-3 weeks, too early to test yet.

af due 31st, what about you?
my stomach has swollen so much. Has anyone had pg symptoms this early? only on CD18.

my af is due 3rd august. I've got a swollen stomach and feel really lightheaded but i think its too early for any symptoms yet.x

if i work on my shortest cycle (which was 26 days) then af due 31st July, all other cycles been 29days which would mean af due 3rd Aug also.
My stomach is really swollen, even my work trousers seem tighter by the day, and since yesterday my boobs have started to feel tender.
i'm sure im not just imagining it. but like trying4bump i feel its too early for any symptoms. any advice?

Hiya all. Af due 2nd August so we are all pretty close. I have been getting pains in my boobs and they feel alittle heavire but i imagine that everymonth so no help at all.

maddyd - do you think you will be testing early, and if so how early? is this your 1st pg?

i have ordered some ultra early pg test from ebay, should arrive soon, think i may test end of next week. Going holiday 6th Aug want to find out for sure before then. hoping for BFP .

Will def test early. Im a nightmare and a bit addicted to testing, in fact alot addicted.

I have a teenager and two toddlers and i misscarried in April. Thats why im a bit obessive as he was going to be my last one. How about you?

I have got a 14yr old dd and 11yr old ds from previous marriage. Got married in May dh has no children, hense trying for more. Sorry to hear about your miscarriage, i think i will test early.

My teeneager is froma previous relationship aswell. Hence the two toddlers and trying agin. I always wanted a big family as not that close to my own.

Lets set a date to test then is 7dpo too early that would be Sunday for me, i think 9dpo would be more sensible. I will use a early test and save my digital ones i think

I am going to try and resist testing until next Friday,(if i can) that will be 11dpo if BFN will test again 2nd Aug then again on 5th (if Af not arrived), (hope she stays away from us both). i have 3 ultra early tests, thinking of getting a clearblue digital as well. think wait until about 3rd Aug and see whats happening.
