Am I the only one on my 2ww and symptom spotting like mad! Come on you know you are too!

So I am on CD20 of a 28 day cycle and I am going mad symptom spotting! I even did a PG test this morning an of course it was a BPN as way too early to test I know! Mad women alert and its only my first month of TTC #3 but my problem is DH has now changed his mond about TTC so I think this is my only shot

So I have swollen and sore breasts
A back ache (which I had with DS2 for the whole pregnancy)
I am feeling sickie
and I am having cramps

If I am not pregnant then my body is playing a really nasty trick on me!

Still no symptoms here, AF is due on next Sunday so will just have to wait and see....!

I was convinced I am pregnant this month. Today was day 28 of a usual 28 day cycle. I've had extreme tiredness for the last 10 days or so, feeling a little sick, completely off wine and even had a bit of thrush (sorry fot the TMI), all of which are symptoms for me of early pregnancy.

Unfortunately I took a First Response test yesterday which says you can test 6 days early and I got a BFN, so I guess the symptoms are just in my head .

cupof its not over until the fat lady sings! With my second the i tested with a first response the day I was due and got a BFN it was about a week before I got a strong BFP!

So I still have very sore boobs and a back ache i feel sick but I think that could be due to my stinking cold!

I am getting pretty fed up to be honest, its day 24 of 28, and I am just fed up of all of it - the excitement, disappointment and just feeling so frikking empty all the time

I know I'll feel better once the morning coffee kicks in!

Hey all, after several BFNs, AF arrived this morning ie day 29 of 25/6 day cycle.

Am about as sure as one can be about when I ovulate (OPK plus temps plus CM observations) but it means Luteal Phase has gone from 10/11 days to 15. Anyone any thoughts on why this may happen or just random and nothing to worry about? Obviously longer luteal phase is better but that's quite a big difference.

So, another month, try again. Not down about it, just relieved to know one way or the other as the waiting is so awful. Feel for all of you.

Jebel according to all the experts OV can move but LP should always stay the same, I think BF is the only thing i've heard of that changes it. As you say, it is a good thing tho' maybe see what happens next cycle?

I am now day 21 of 27/28 so quite a way to go yet, my nips are still on fire but that started way too early for it to be a pg symptom (3/4DPO) so think it must be an ill fitting bra making them sore!

Trying not to get my hopes up, had 2 small glasses of wine last night and even caught myself thinking 'I hope i'm not pg, I really like this Cabernet Shiraz i've dicovered'...only for about a nano second though, then mentally slapped myself and put my priorities back in the right order!

Thanks Pancakes, I've heard the same which is why I'm confused. But I did once read a science paper saying that alcohol can shorten it. I gave up drinking for a month in January so maybe it had an impact, bit dramatic though!

Am back on the vino now and had exactly the same thought as you a couple of nights ago and was worrying as have a big weekend planned! Can go enjoy it now.

Keeping fingers crossed for everyone else.

Hi all, need some sense talking into me please...I am 8/9 DPO and am symptom spotting galore even though I know that it's very unlikely I will be pg this month My boobs are sore but i've convinced myself it's in a different way to usual and today I feel slightly sick for no reason. And it's a bit gross but my wee smells really strong too - is that a sign? Am not testing though cos it is way too early and I can't face a BFN [sigh emoticon]

Hey everyone, can I join too!? My name is Becky, I'm 21 and have been trying to conceive since October 2009. I did get pregnant in November 2009 but it turned out to be ectopic. I had to have a chemical abortion (methotrexate) and am now TTC after waiting for this chemical to leave my blood stream. I am on Cycle 3 and CD9 and am really bad at symptom spotting, last month I convinced myself that I had conceived. I felt sick, had headaches and an increased appetite. Only to have AF show up a week later. Oh Well! there's always this cycle! Waiting to ovulate now and am determined not to symptom spot in the 2ww, it's so hard not to though, I don't even realise I am doing it half the time! How's everyone else getting on? x x x

Hello, can I join too please? I'm 11DPO today and had some spotting yesterday which I thought was AF coming but it hasn't developed into anything so I'm really hoping it it implantation spotting! Fingers crossed for everyone! (Oh, and I did test on DPO 8 or 9 and obviously it was negative! I'm trying to hold out until Saturday to test and for the moment am trying to take comfort in the fact there is no more spotting or bleeding!)

No real update since yesterday but I just walked past the Waitrose olive bar and the smell almost made me wretch Although am not sure if I have slight period type twinges...

Just had a conversation with DP:
Me: I feel a bit sick again today, maybe I am preggers
Him: Or maybe them vitamins are out of date?
Me: Don't be silly, of course they're not.
Him: Maybe you're anaemic then.
Me: Says 'maybe' but thinks 'validate my symptoms goddammit!'

I am still hanging in there - day 26 of a 28day cycle. No symptoms though, but no PMS symptoms either so you never know!

Teafan I know wxactly what you mean - my DP told me theres no way I could be pregnant as the acupuncturist would have told me if I was - WTF?!!!

Hi everyone - I'm on cycle2 of TTC*2 and the wait is driving me bonkers! I usually have around a 32 day cycle and am now on day 25, but I've been obsessing for the whole month, trying to spot when I'm ovulating, calculating when implantation might take place, making sure we DTD days before and after I MIGHT be ovulating...!!! AArrgghhhh!

I wish I could just switch off from it and wait to see if AF arrives, but I just can't - thankfully only 1 week of the madness left (before it could potentially start all over again...)

I'm determined, yes that's determined not to symptom spot, however just had a very swimmy dizzy thing go on. Have had breakfast. Not hungover. Any suggestions? (Damn, am symptom spotting)

I am so confused. I am on cd38 of a usual 34 day cyle. I tested on Thursday and yesterday and both came back BFN. What the heck is going on???

I'm day 36 of a 28day cycle - all Internet cheapos are coming up BFN and a Clearblue yesterday was invalid as the control line didn't come up.

Getting really frustrated now and just want to know either way

I am glad I have found MN as feeling like total lonny. TTC #2. Been off pill since Sept, only really going at it since xmas. Totally convinced last month, had 'implantation bleeding' sore boobs etc, but AF arrived on schedule after silly me testing too early anyway and getting BFN.

Tested today with predictor 5 days to AF due and got teeny tiny line brought about through willpower alone I think.

Too scared to tell DH as think AF will arrive anyway.

I've used 2 tesco cheap ones and then yesterday I did a clearblue digital. Still negative and I am now CD45 of a regular 33!!
