September is a month of new beginnings, maybe we'll have some new beginnings of our own. Hop on board the September Bus and let's see where it takes us.

Fingers crossed Muser!

Every time I am up at stupid o'clock with DS, I do find myself wondering why on earth I'm in such a hurry to get going on number two, and then he'll do something cute while we're at the library later and I'll be all, "ooh, it'll be so lovely when there's two of them playing."

Of course, number 2 not going to be an issue if DP and don't actually manage to spend a few minutes in bed and awake some time soon!

Hi Everyone, who has the biccies?

Loujalou · 11/12/2009 10:21

Here Nymph the biccies and the posh ice cream. Have been in a bad state even though no signs of period and am not due for a little while. Just feel so sad.

Loujalou · 11/12/2009 10:32

Posted on the wrong bus - whoops I think I might be joining you soon and the next time I am fertile we are supposed to be staying at my MIL. So looks like we are going into October.

Sorry for my rant. Hello to you all. Some of you I recognise. Congrats Muser I know you were trying to follow Kaylo but you were already pregnant so think you cheated

nymphadora · 11/12/2009 10:37

Loujalou It looks like its good luck to start a bus so if you're now aiming for October do it now I cant justify it as if I get pg this time I'm still only start of Sept!

If I get pg this time I'm due about dd2s bday and will have a section at 38/9 weeks which takes it to Dh birthday. Going to be a busy fortnight!

Loujalou · 11/12/2009 10:40

Shall wait til period comes before starting bus. Bless DH he has said we can go and stay with MIL for less time if it happens I am not pregnant. He is a sweetie. Plus he has organised some hypnotherapy sessions to help me calm down.

If I am pregnant now the baby will be due around my birthday so probably best not to give birth then. But then DS was 6 weeks premmie.

Cazzr · 11/12/2009 10:42

Ok, so I think I am going a bit baby mad.

DH just got all exasperated because I am umming and ahhing about taking a nasal spray to help with this damned cold. He says i'm nuts as we don't even know if I am pregnant yet and some people drink/smoke/do allsorts through pregnancy and I'm worrying about a bit of cold medecine!

I think it's developed into a sinus infection but see no point in seeing a doc who will say to wait a few more days first no doubt. Plus would antibiotics (if he prescribed them) be harmful in early pregnancy?

This 2ww is going to be a mare for me! Tho we are on cycle 2, it;s more like cycle 1 as we made a piss poor attempt at trying last month and I feel the need to do this first time like happened with DS (the almost immaculate conception).

I'm being all whiney now so I'll go and be pathetic in the corner. Think I need the biccies too, so if there are any going spare can you throw them my way... [tired emoticon]

LittlewhiskersCat · 11/12/2009 13:31

Oh congrats Muser! Brilliant news. Everything crossed for a sticky one - the fact your digital says 2-3 weeks is great news as the hormone levels must be going up in the right direction to have gone past the 1-2 weeks? Sure it'll all be fine. You are setting the standard for a very successful bus indeed

nymphadora · 11/12/2009 20:51

Starting to worry as period pains v bad this time & thinking endo is returning which wont bode well

bunnygirl80 · 11/12/2009 22:01

Oh, I've been silly and am now in a grump Got some first response and used it today - bfn - it just looked so stark and final

As I was typing this though I realised I miscounted. AF not due till Friday so earliest possible testing date would be tomorrow...

Still, after this morning I might was to see if my period is late.

fingers crossed all ok muser.

I've been using ovulation sticks to try and work out where i'm up to, there is alwaya a fainter line in the test area but its getting stronger, ? does this mean will soon be close to LH surge and ovulation. So unsure with only just having had implanon out just don't want to miss it.
Hope evrybofy else ok, meggles have you tested yet?

bunnygirl80 · 12/12/2009 23:24

Hi nymph

I quite like sitting at the back of a virtual bus...never got to sit at the back of real ones at school as I wasn't cool enough. I always sat at the front with the teacher! So I'm going to enjoy being at the back of this one for a few days and pass round the wine and chocolate cake to those of us stuck at the back while we've got a few days of not being totally virtuous!

NancyDrewRocks · 13/12/2009 09:17

kawaiiko step away from the first response!

They are inaccurate early on it's not worth wasting your emotions (not to mention money) on them. Don't be disheartened.

meggles · 13/12/2009 09:48

argh- AF appear today. no warning. based on my ovulation day - my luetal phase is 4 days! either my charting is 'shiet' or my body is 'shiet'. i am really upset this morning - both my sisters conceived with their first within 2 months. i'm now in my 4th month (2nd cycle), and I feel like my body is broken & useless. pathetic, eh?

nymphadora · 13/12/2009 09:56

Lol at nancy drew noting accuracy in her diary!

Here bunny today's special extra leftover smarties from dd1s party

kawaiiko · 13/12/2009 15:44

NancyDrewRocks, thanks for the wise words...damn Boots and their 2-4-1 deal on First Response at the moment!

I wonder how long I will hold out? Can I have some of that cake while I'm waiting? [hopeful emoticon]

PurpleHeffalump · 13/12/2009 16:19

Hi all. Have updated for today - hopefully correctly, as I've been ill all weekend (cold/flu) unable to move from sofa, so brain not working too well! Also changed my UCL as was looking back in diary and realised I'd counted wrong although it means I can test a day earlier

Am on my first 2ww and already feeling frustrated. Not holding out too much hope for this month, although we did manage to BD a couple of times around the right time (I think!). I know I'm going to drive myself crazy with symptom spotting. Tried to 'look out' for ovulation pains this cycle and apparently I ovulated about twice a day since my period ended!!!

Cazzr · 13/12/2009 19:28

Oh no PurpleHeffalump, hope i didn't spread my lurgey to you through the internet! Still suffering now, it has gone to my chest, oh the fun! Btw, after reading up about cold flu remedies when ttc, aparently Guaifenesinin which is in chesty cough syrup is good for helping you ttc, something to do with mucus.

I think i'm a day behind my number listed as my 'cd1' started late in the evening and ovulated in the night between cd14 and 15 so think i'm probably same day as you.
When are you considering the first day to be to POAS? I have many cheap ebay tests burning a hole in the drawer...!
Anyone know if they are actually any good?

2ww is hell atm, am already convinced i'm preg and symptom spotting, it'll be tears before christmas if i'm wrong I know it! Gahh, DH is right, I'm nuts!
