September is a month of new beginnings, maybe we'll have some new beginnings of our own. Hop on board the September Bus and let's see where it takes us.

happy nappies, my ds is 2 and a half, i've waited this long due to needing job security but for me personally couldn't have done it under 2 year gap. May be due to the fact I have quite a demanding career as a GP also though. Think whateve you have is right for you as you'll never know any different and you will always cope.

nymphadora · 09/12/2009 00:47

Still lurking but probably joining in the next few days so am marking my place

Redbug · 09/12/2009 08:43

Just sidling in quietly... Have namechanged as I know a couple of MNers in real life and don't want them to know we're TTC!

We're starting TTC number two, DS is just over 14 months. Wish I could just produce another 1 year old out of thin air without having to go through the whole pregnancy/newborn thing (turns out I'm not a natural, BFing earth mother who enjoys newborn snuggles and NEVER SLEEPING), but apparently that's not an option . And I've only just lost weight from first pg!

Anyway, here's my details:

happynappies If I got pregnant this cycle then there would be 4 1/2 years between my youngest and the new arrival.

I have a 15mth gap between my 1st two - it was fine you will manage! - and the big gap between #2 and this one is in part due to DC #3 being stillborn.

Now there is such a big gap we may well try again for # 4 straight away

Morning All

The stats today didn't seem to be properly updated. So i've gone ahead and changed them. I hope I didn't mess them up.

Oh and by the way happynappies the gap between my first DS and the new arrival if I got pg this cycle would be 12 years!!!!

I know i have left it so so long. But only now feel ready to have another one. I was 22 when I had first DS. I plan to have two more DC staight away.

shelleee · 09/12/2009 17:28

hi ASIANBABE i would have a 12yr gap aswell its quite scary starting again as my ds has just started senior school!!!!

Muser · 10/12/2009 07:47

So, I may have started this bus prematurely. I started spotting yesterday, on CD11. Had been suspecting chemical pregnancy last month due to definite symptoms and week early, shorter & lighter period (but lighter compared to usual very heavy periods).

Out of frustration I decided to POAS last night before bed, just to see. I got an instant BFP. Twice. Clear Blue Digital says 2-3 weeks, so 4-5 weeks really. Not sure this is a keeper, but going to find out. It makes me an August bus success, but I like to think it bodes well for the September bus!

And shellee know exactly how you feel the gap is so huge going to be hard to get back into the baby years!!! But can't wait!!!

heading4home · 10/12/2009 14:43

Hello everyone! Can I just on the bus?

My DD is already 5 and a half, but we didn't feel ready/circumstances weren't right for another one until now. To be honest, they're not really right now, but I am so broody, I'm climbing the walls!

I am the bread winner in our family, my DH has gone back to university full time and maternity leave here in Switzerland only 18 weeks

But I am going to be 35 next week and it's time. Things worked themselves out with DD and they will work themselves out this time too. Last time round, dd was conceived literally first try, but I guess we would be VERY lucky to have that happen again!

My stats I think:
TTC no2 Cycle 1 UCL 30 days CD1

nymphadora · 10/12/2009 16:56

Must be good luck to start a bus this is the third one in a row .......

drkgpink · 10/12/2009 19:23

wow, congrats muser, hello everyone else. I know its only first cycle since implanon removed but i've succumbed to ovulation tests as just don't know what to expect after removal. literature says anywhere from 36 hours to 28 days and beyond. today had pale blue lh line next to test, what does this mean

kawaiiko · 10/12/2009 22:13

Oh, I don't think I'm going to be very good at this tww thing... already got my first response waiting in the cupboard

How soon do they really work?

Molly79 · 10/12/2009 22:28

CONGRATULATIONS Muser

beckylou85 · 10/12/2009 23:02

Hi all, do you mind if i join too?
I've been ttc for over 4yrs now but started Clomid last month so I'll say thats the number of cycles.
TTC#1 cycle 2 UCL 28 CD 24.

P.S CONGRATS Muser xx

Muser · 10/12/2009 23:04

Thanks everyone. I went to the emergency gynae clinic today as I'm still spotting. Nurse doesn't think I have an ectopic pregnancy, but my period like bleed is definitely odd. I had blood taken and have to go back on Sunday to have some more taken. If my hormone levels on Sunday have gone up, then it's looking good. If they've gone down, then it's probably an early miscarriage.

Please cross your fingers!

OP posts:
beckylou85 · 10/12/2009 23:07

meggles · 11/12/2009 08:39

WooHoo! My chart of fertilityfriend says I ovulated! And we managed to DTD on the 'proper days'. Itching to test.

meggles · 11/12/2009 08:40

Fingers & toes crossed fro you Muser!
