September is a month of new beginnings, maybe we'll have some new beginnings of our own. Hop on board the September Bus and let's see where it takes us.

Can I join Fri/sat? I'm due Fri so prob out by then anyway but i just want a POAS buddy(I'm lucky all mine so far have graduated)

kawaiiko · 05/01/2010 14:54

Hello all,

Umbongo, Nymph - is it possible to overdo the optimism tablets?! Managed to bd on days 13 and 15 so far and feel ridiculously happy today even though I am due back at work tomorrow...not sure if it's the chance of being pg or just that bd makes me feel great!

Ha, legally - I just propositioned dh about this evening and he was like "uh...again?!" I seem to be the opposite - the more I do it, the more I WANT to!

Fingers crossed for everyone on the front of the bus - and oodles of patience for those of us about to enter the dreaded 2ww!

FrenchLimeBlossom · 05/01/2010 16:08

Redbug you are on - but i am keeping fingers crossed more for you than me as I just feel it's pretty unlikely this month and also have had a BFN already. But yet, am now 6 days late, no AF symptoms, spotting, sickness in early morning...... surely it cannot all be 'stress' making me late?

Arrrrghhhhhh am driving self and DH insane! just bloody do one thing or the other you stupid body!

Redbug · 05/01/2010 16:30

French I'm much the same - had a BFN on... I can't remember? Saturday? There's no reason at all it should be positive for me, apart from absence of AF. Maybe we'll both be lucky.

DS has just crawled down the hallway with a takeaway menu in his mouth! I think he's trying to tell me something about my cooking...

lucybrad · 05/01/2010 16:38

i have totally no pg symptoms at all.nothing nil zero.

nymphadora · 05/01/2010 17:56

LOL at redbugs ds

lucybrad · 05/01/2010 19:29

i just poas (on day 22 d'oh) BFN obviously but i wanted guilt free wine....

SamanthaB123 · 05/01/2010 19:43

Hello

It's looking very exciting with all this collaborative testing coming up. Fx for loads of BFP's. I'm on day 21, anyone want to be a testing buddy with me?

Having a weird day...if I felt this way in a week's time I would be delighted but I just don't get it, it's way too early for symptoms...I'm only 5dpo!

I have had waves of nausea all day and my breasts feel like they do just before the milk comes when you breastfeed. I also see to have an irritating tickly nose. I must be getting a cold.

I can't spend months ttc and feeling unwell, this is supposed to be exciting!

Can't wait to hear news tomorrow...SB x

lucylev · 05/01/2010 20:01

2010jollster · 05/01/2010 21:26

oh asianbabe I'm sorry - was looking forward to a synchronised pee on Friday....
suspect I'll see you on the October bus soon...

asianbabe · 05/01/2010 21:37

2010jollster hope not to see you on the october bus!! keeping my fingers crossed for you and all the other POAS Buddies!!!

pointsmakeprizes · 05/01/2010 22:41

Sorry about AF asianbabe, probably see you on the October bus soon enough.

Can't believe I am on CD 30 already and only on 3 dpo!!! A long way to go....

Good luck to everyone testing soon, looks like some promising symptoms out there.

bunnygirl80 · 06/01/2010 01:19

I'm getting excited now that there is lots of team POASing about to happen. Surely we are going to get more than 2 grads from this bus.

Sorry AF got you asianbabe

FF has declared that I am currently only 3dpo - I thought I was more but I'm not going to argue with it! I think that I'll hold off testing until the end of next week as don't really want to get a BFN through early testing - anyone want to join me?

BFP!

Sorry you got BFN French - sometimes BFPs take ages, so maybe one will appear for you soon.

MIL was super excited when we told her, my mother was totally underwhelmed and said, 'is that good news?' Gee, thanks mum. It's exactly what she was like when I was pregnant with DS - once she got used to the idea she was really excited, but took her ages to get over the shock. Am only telling them so early as might need help with DS if anything goes wrong.

FrenchLimeBlossom · 06/01/2010 09:23

Well done HappyNappies and redbug, really pleased for you both, what a nice start to the new year. redbug am really glad one of us got a BFP! Hope your mum can build up a bit more excitement for you soon.

For me it's so frustrating though when i have had 12 years of blameless 28 day regular cycles almost to the hour, finally to TTC and all of a sudden be 7 days late with all sorts of weird stuff going on in my body which has NEVER happened before. I cannot understand it.

If not BFP this month (and after 2 BFN I am guessing probably not) then DH and I are heading to the GP to check us both out and see if there is anything going wrong.

Any more immenent testing? SB

SamanthaB123 · 06/01/2010 09:29

FrenchLimeBlossom - Our messages overlapped...I know this sounds a bit lame, but did you do a 'good quality' test? I have read on other threads about some HPT's that aren't as good as others. It might be worth a try. What about symptoms, do you have any symptoms now? SB

FrenchLimeBlossom · 06/01/2010 09:53

Hi SamB123 - thanks for the support - sadly yes it was a CBD (not loving those words 'not pregnant' to be honest) the last two were CB one with FMU did not work and the other was BFN (not FMU).

Main symptom of anything I have this morning is weepiness i am embarrassed to say.

I still feel a bit nauseous (v unlike me not to want my breakfast!) and had a rather sharp pain on my right side for about half an hour this morning before i got up. I don't have normal AF symptoms (other than being generally weepy and pathetic) but i do keep needing the loo.

I think i just need to be patient (which I am not v good at) and i guess that is a good lesson to learn if i plan to be a mother!
