period 10 days late negative pregnancy tests help???

hi i was due to start my period 10 days ago and still no sign i have took 3 pregnancy tests now each one has come up negative it is starting to drive me insane! i have been taking citalopram for the past 4 months aswell and dont know if this could be affecting me? if anyone could help i would be sooo greatful as i am losing my mind! xx

ps. Nicolexo - I was on Citalopram when I conceived my little girl 2 years ago and I weaned off it over the first 3 months I was preggers (the shock of going cold turkey prob would have been horrid), I fell pregnant first go with an early strong result and had a wonderful pregnancy and a perfect little girl, you'll be fine, these drugs come with risks but they are very small xxx

Hey can someone help me I'm 19 days late on my period and been spotting twice and done 3 pregnancy tests but all come back negative ?

I'm 10days late done a pregnancy test today which was negative, I don't know what else to do I'm going crazy just want to know either way. What should I do now?

Hi everyone i understand your pain im 40 days late!!! Cycle day 68 all negative tests and doctors cant fit me in to see them until 26th november!!! X

Did any of you find out the results? I'm now 10 days late and still negative results, had a blood test done on Monday and that came back negative but still no sign of a period.. Getting really impatient now I just wanna know if I'm pregnant or not.

Klarisse3, if you've had negative blood test then you definitely aren't pregnant! Ovulation predictor kits look for certain hormones in your urine which INDICATE that ovulation is going to take place - the only way to know for sure is to have bloods for progesterone levels taken 7 days before your next af is due and look at whether there is a raised level of progesterone in your blood.

It is entirely possible to have anovulatory cycles with positive opk's (I had 2 out of 3 tested cycles in 2015 over a 5 month period of time) as the tests pick up hormone surges but don't confirm egg release; and to have extended cycles or miss af completely when you've not ovulated but had a surge of Lutinising hormone that's picked up on opk's.

It's a bit worrying as I know 2 girls one with a healthy 5 month old daughter and one who is now 14 weeks that had the same problem even with negative blood test results and were still pregnant, my periods are very regular and I've never missed one so its just a little bit worrying.. I'd like to believe I'm not pregnant but my body feels very different and only a few symptoms are showing.

Hello, I was just wondering if those that were 10+ days late for the Monthly... and also got a negative test, managed to get the outcome in the end? I know this discussion was quite some time ago... But im now in the same situation where i'm 10 days late and no BFP as yet :(

I am however getting PMS and have been for 2 weeks running now. I have read a few articles and this is apparently normal if pregnant

But it would be nice to actually get some feed back from someone who has had a similar/same situation and what was the final outcome it being months/years later. Hope someone can help because im totally confused right now...

Hi I 10 days late done a test and it says I'm not be had a bit of pink blood yestday and then went then had a bit of the same this morning just don't no wat to do any advice would be nice x

hi i am currently 11 days late and so far all BFNs ... its soo frustrating... i just want AF to show up now as i have given up hope on a BFP....

anyone got any positive stories??

Caliumummy could be the start of AF or have you maybe ovulated late in ur cycle and th pink blood maybe implantation bleed?

I have had 1 child y is it taking me so long to get pregnant again

I notice a lot of women posting they are late with BFN but no update so here’s mine;
I was 10 days late. Tested 4 times at home with clear blue digital test - all negative. Went to doc when I was 8 days late. Negative too. Then, day 10, took another hpt (second pee of the morning) and got a BFP. Doc also confirmed same with two urine tests (just to make sure). There are a couple of reasons why this could have happened;
1- I ovulated later the month previous than I first thought and
2- the pregnancy hormones were not high enough at the time of the testing.
The signs of pregnancy and why I kept testing were
a) I am never more than 2/3 days late
b) we were ttc
c) I felt bloated, tired, emotional and came down with a nasty cold and respiratory infection all prior to testing positive.
On my first pregnancy I got a BFP one day before my period was due, so clearly every pregnancy is different. Also every woman is different and pregnancy symptoms can varry. I had no implantation bleed but did have cramping. For anyone with a missed period and testing negative don’t give up hope. Just retry in a couple of days. Good luck everyone

Hello.. im the same it’s soo disheartening
Im 10 days late with 2 negative hpt and like most of you my period comes on the day its due only time I’ve been late before is when i was pregnant with my 2 children . I bled a small bit last week just onto my clothes and it stoped straight away
I don’t know what to do I’m going absolutely insane

Ye this kind of how i Felt, i had a good bit of cramping as if my period was gonna come but 10 days later and no sign at all apart from a tiny bled last week! Took my second test today and got a BFN again well i cried for hours.... don’t know what to do now. The waiting is killing me seriously

Hi all I'm 10 days late, I've never been late I've taken lots of tests all negative apart from 1. The line appeared after 15 minutes. Help I'm going insane. Has anyone had the same situation then end up getting a positive?.

I am also 10 days late and 4 x BFN’s (Clearblue, FR and a standard test used)
We have been TTC for 12+ months and this cycle is the most hope we’ve had so fingers crossed. I do seem to be getting symptoms such as nausea and dizziness, thirsty, mild twinges etc.
My partner already has two children.
Have any of you had any recent success stories you can share? X

@jellykulie any updates? I'm in similar position, 17 DPO, 3 days late and 3 negative tests, so frustrating! My chart temps are still high, thought I might start AF this morning but don't feel crampy anymore.

@Kitttycatt had a tiny bit of spotting over the last couple of days (Which upset me) and then a bit of dark bleeding after sex this morning (sorry if TMI) but absolutely nothing since. This feels different to the start of AF, and I have read that light to medium bleeding in the first 12 weeks is normal so I’m still keeping my fingers crossed that there is hope.

I’m now 13 days late (if this isn’t the start of AF)

Im 4 days late, tested and got BFN.

I feel im pregnant coz i got those preggo symptoms such as tiredness, hot flashes. Mild cramps that goes on and off. Sensitive and full breast. Dizziness.

Its so frustrating, I just want to know if im pregnant or not. But really hoping for BFP soon. How about you guys? Anyone's with mee

@goldenrose88 it’s so frustrating isn’t it! I definitely feel pregnant. My mum told me that she didn’t show positive on a HPT until about 8 weeks with me so maybe I’ll follow in her footsteps? Gives us all a little hope!

Hi, yes this is my first and I've been trying since October. I'm just going to test every two days this week and see. I don't feel like AF is coming, I have tender nipples and a mild stabbing pain on left side that comes and goes and I feel less energetic than normal. Nice to know I'm not the only one!

Just an update. 5 days late still no AF although after weeing earlier today there's a slight blood after wiping down there but still no flow coming out. Maybe AF is on her way 😒 im still having mild cramps that come and go and feeling a bit hot and tired. Dont really know what's going on with my body. Il just continue to monitor hehe

Are either of you temping? My temps are still up after 18 days - that's meant to be a sign you are pregnant 🙈 I will test again tomorrow morning when I'm 5 days late. Hope one of us gets an outcome soon!
